Titi stayed at our house the weekend of 12/17-12/19. Monday morning she baby sat the kids while I ran into work for a couple hours and then we all drove up to Nana and Papa's to spend a couple nights doing Christmas stuff and hanging out. Papa just bought a really cool 4x4 jeep Cherokee that is amazing!
First up 4 wheeling on some country roads.
It was tons of fun! A little scary but so much fun!
Then Titi had to do an errand in town so we walked around the little village. They had a great book store and a really fun pet store. We fell in love with this cutie!
We go back and forth thinking about getting a little friend for Deuce but we seem to always decided to just wait so we kissed her good bye this time.
After our afternoon out we came home for some yummy hot chocolate and nana's famous mac n cheese.
I just love my parents tree! They went with a gold and white themed this year and its beautiful!
That night we watched secret Life of Pets and stayed up really late.
Tuesday 12/20 we woke up and went straight to decorating cookies. Nana had made the cookies the day before so it was fun to jump right into decorating with royal icing. We all had a blast and they turned out beautiful!
After decorating we braved the crowd and went Wal Mart to do some last minute shopping and to pick out some toys for toys for tots. Then we came home. The kids played in their tree house and sled down the grassy hill while Laura and I did some more shopping.
We then all met up at home and got ready to go visit Santa in down town. It was super cute and remained me of the Santa hut in Home Alone.
After Santa we went to Laura's house to see her decorations and eat treats. I took this picture right after she unplugged the lights.
Then we walked to fire station 2 doors down to deliver our toys we bought for toys for tots and some cookies to the firemen. They were sweet and gave the kids there very own tour of the station.
Then we went up to the casino for dinner and some games at the arcade.
Wednesday morning we woke up to the cutest snowman pancakes made by nana.
We then got ready and packed up to go back home. It was such a nice mini trip to see them. It's always so fun sharing the Christmas memories from my childhood. In this picture we were looking at all my years sitting on Santa's lap.
