Crawling

Carter has been busy accomplishing many milestones lately. He is just growing up so fast. Carter started getting up on all fours a couple of weeks ago. He would just rock back and forth but on Thursday January 20th Carter put one knee in front of the other and started crawling. He would just do one knee worth and then army crawl but by Monday he was all over the place on all fours. I had to take the baby gates out again today!!! I feel like we just got over keeping Aubrey out of everything and here we go again. What fun times! He is just so adorable in all the things he can do. Congratulations Carter!

1st Word

Carter speaks!!!
Yes he said "Dada" today. More then just once a few times. Carter turned 8 months last week and is growing like a bean stock. He had his 8 month doctor appointment while we were on our trip so daddy got to take him. He did great! He didn't need shots this time. He weighs 19lbs. 5oz. and is 27 1/2 inch's long both 48%. We think he will crawl any day now he gets up on all fours and then rocks back and forth. His first tooth has not come in yet but almost I can feel it. We love you so much Carter!

New Year's Day

On New Year's Day we took the kids to John's Incredible Pizza for the day. We had a lot of fun

We came home and had baths. It has been great being able to do two baths at once.

New Year's Eve

We had a wonderful New Years Eve. Spencer had the whole day off it was great. We took the kids out to Pocket 8's Teppanyaki for dinner.

After dinner we came home and watched the apple drop in Time's Square on the computer at 7pm. We had our annual sparkling cider and cream puffs.

Happy New Year!

Girls Trip

The Tuesday after Christmas we went on our annual Girls Trip. This year Nana, Titi, Aubrey and I all took BART to San Fransisco to see Shrek the Musical. We stayed in the city for two nights, did lots of shopping, enjoyed yummy food and had some really nice girl time. Aubrey was very excited to pack her suitcase and pull it all on her own. When we were packing and getting ready she made it very clear that this was a girls trip and that Daddy, Baby Carter, and Deuce were going to stay home. This was also very exciting since it was Aubrey's first trip on BART and her first time in the Big City. She has been to San Fransisco before to museums but this was the first time in down town.

She was very serious on BART. I think she was taking it all in.

We stayed at the Hilton in Union Square. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. Aubrey loved all the ginger bread houses.

One of my dreams came true!

Walking down town with my little girl.

We made it to the show! Shrek was amazing! The costumes, music, everything was great! Aubrey LOVED it! She was very tired from all the parting prior so she did fall a sleep at one point but she was awake for most of it and could not keep her eyes of the stage. Aunt Pat met up with us for the show.

Papa picked us up in the City on Thursday to bring us home. We got to have fun afternoon with him. Strolling down Burlingame Blvd with the family.

We went to over to Great Grandpa Merv's house to visit. It was nice to see him, Uncle Steve, and Joan.

We had a great time but we missed our boys. Spencer was able to take some vacation time to be with Carter. Also mom & dad sup came out to be with Carter for a day. Carter and Daddy were very happy to see us when we got home.

Christmas 2010

We had a wonderful Christmas morning. This was the first time for us to be on our "own." I have been waking up at my parents house for 30 years. Spencer at his parents and then the last 5 at my parents so this year was different for us. It was so much fun having Santa come here and see the joy in our little 2 years old face when she walked down the stairs. It was also a very exciting day because it was Carter's first Christmas. We had a busy morning packed with opening gifts and enjoying cinnamon rolls.

The kids opening their stockings.

Even Deuce got to be part of the fun!

Like we all thought, Carter loved all the bows and wrapping.

Christmas afternoon Nana, Papa, Titi, Gaga (that is what Aubrey calls uncle Scott), and Aunt Pat came over. We had such a wonderful time enjoying each others company, opening gifts, and eating an awesome dinner. The family all got here before Aubrey and Carter woke up from their naps. It looked like Santa came again!

Our Christmas Dinner.

Winding down time with Nana. Oh what a day! The kids were so tired.

We were so happy to have Christmas here this year and to get to enjoy it with everyone. Thank you Santa and everyone for such a wonderful Christmas and Christmas Eve and spoiling all of us rotten.

Christmas Eve

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve. We went up to Stockton to celebrate with the Sup side. It was a fun day filled with lots of activities and good food.

The kids did a white elephant game. Aubrey was very happy with her Tink puzzle.

The grown-ups also did a white elephant game with silly gifts.

Santa even made a guest appearance. Aubrey was thrilled.

All the cousins.
The Guys.

The ladies.

We made it back home after the party and got ready for the big night. This was the first time that we were at our own home for Christmas Eve night.

I was very happy when I finally found matching Christmas PJ's.

Getting all ready for Santa.
