Early St. Patrick's Day

We had an early family St. Patrick's day party on Sunday. We all wore green, made corn beef and cabbage, danced to Irish music, and eat cupcakes. It was loads of fun and very yummy!!
Happy Early St. Patrick's Day!!!

Our little girl is growing up

Sunday March 11th Aubrey gave her first talk in primary. It was on prophets and apostles. She did wonderfully! We are so proud of our very smart and beautiful daughter.
Aubrey had her 4 year appointment on Friday. She is 43.5 inches tall (98%) and 38 lbs. (75%) The doctor is very impressed with how she is growing. She was able to answer yes to all the questions and was very brave when she had to get 3 shots. Aubrey is full of life, she keeps us very busy. She loves to talk and tell stories. I have to share my talking time now. Just tonight at dinner she said, "mom you have been talking a long time it's my turn to talk to dad now." Aubrey loves arts and crafts we try do some kind of activity everyday. She draws amazing family portraits with tons of details and rainbows. Aubrey can now spell and write her name on her own. She can do the alphabet and write every letter with a little help. She knows how to count to 20 and we have started working on adding. She is an amazing big sister that loves to include Carter in all she does. She loves the color pink, mac and cheese and all animals especially dolphins. Aubrey enjoys her weekly dance class and is getting ready for her big recital in June. Aubrey new favorite thing is picking out her outfits all on her own and adding her own accessories. She makes us smile everyday and we are so lucky to call her ours. We love you Aubrey!!!!

March Play Date

In honor of St. Patrick's Day we made rainbows out of fruit loops for play date. The big kids had fun sorting the fruit loops into the different colors and then gluing them on the paper while the little guys enjoyed eating them.

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

Yesterday March 3rd was Daddy's 32nd birthday. We were spoiled this year having it on a Saturday!!! It was so much fun being together as a family for the whole day.
Being that his special day was on a Saturday it made it hard for me to surprise him and decorate but I was able to do it in the middle of night so he was surprised!
After everyone woke up we went straight to gifts.
I had a string that led him into the garage where his new weights were (those were to heavy too wrap!) Aubrey and I made this cute interview framed art for him.
After gifts we had his favorite donuts for breakfast. Then we went out and did some shopping and then came home for Carter's nap and Aubrey and I decorated Daddy's cake.
After nap time we went to the movies to see Dr. Seuss' The Lorax. It was a great movie and the kids did awesome.
After the movie we went out to dinner to Strings. Aubrey was very excited to tell the waitress it was her daddy's birthday.
Back home for some of Daddy's favorite carrot cake.
I would have to say it was a fun birthday!!! We love you so much Spencer!! I love that I have gotten to sing you happy birthday for 14 years and I can't wait to do it another 14 million years!! You are the best. Happy Birthday!

Ward Carnival

Friday night was the Ward Carnival. It was an awesome turn out and such a great event. The kids could not stop!!! They were running around with huge smiles the entire time. They had every game you could think of, tons of prizes, cotton candy, hot dogs, pop corn, face painting, relay races and so much more.
Aubrey and Daddy came in second in the potato sack race.
Donut eating contest.
It was a fun night!

Pump it Up

Last Monday we went down to Pump it Up with our friends. It was so much fun! Aubrey idolizes Madisen it is so cute to watch. She really looks up to her and always wants to play with her.
Carter spend most of his time playing with the cars, surprise, surprise!
After jumping and playing all morning we headed over to Chick-fil-A! So good!!! I'm on a mission to bring one to Merced! Then we went over to Old Navy to shop and when we walked in we found Ethan doing this:
Too Cute!! Such fun day.
On Tuesday Nana took the kids to our science and Technology Museum and when I got off work I went and met up with them. I'm so excited about the new Adventure Land room! Very cool!

Fairy Land

Presidents weekend we went to Fairy Land with the kids. The weather was beautiful and we all had a blast. We first had a picnic outside the park.
Our kids were the perfect age for Fairy Land. They loved everything!!!! It was aimed for little ones. We enjoyed all the play structures, rode all the rides, met all the animals, saw the puppet show, listened to story telling and Aubrey was even in part of a parade. What a day!
