Aubrey's Frozen Birthday Party

Aubrey really wanted a Frozen party!!! This was a very fun party to plan! The ideas on pinterst were endless and the colors were so much fun together.  Aubrey and I had a blast! We spent many afternoons working on things while listening to the sound track and really getting into the Frozen mood! We watched the movie about a dozen more times too!
I had lots of fun making these tissue paper tassels this party.
The cake turned out amazing yet again, thanks to Titi!! It not only looks amazing it was the best tasting cake!! I think I gained a pound just licking the frosting bowl.
Carter got into the Frozen spirit too with his Olaf shirt.  He was the best little brother at the party.  He wanted to play all the games, do the craft, eat with the girls and he did it all and wasn't annoying it was awesome!

Our food was Frozen themed.  Nana made her famous rolled sandwiches which are so yummy!!! Our menu was, sandwiches (from the song when they say they finish each others sandwiches) cheese balls (snow balls), carrots (Olaf noses), pretzels (Sven's antlers), and then we added a veggie tray, fruit salad and delved eggs (Aubrey's favorite) for fun.

Before the party officially started Nana and Papa came early to surprise Aubrey with a new big girl bike with out training wheels.  I think she was a bit nervous at first but really liked it.

As you will see in the next post she learned how to ride it all by herself and is doing great.  Thanks Nana and Papa she loves her new bike!!

Party Time!
As guest started arrived we started with the first craft.  Do you want to build a snowman?  We had made white glitter play dough and got all the pieces to build a snowman.

They came out really cute!
I love that we request the guest to wear the colors of the party! It makes for some really fun pictures! The dress Emily wore was perfect! These girls have been best friends since they were 6 months!!
 Lunch time!
Aubrey  was very specific who she wanted at her party.  It had to be only girls and they had to be older than 5 years old.  I was sad that some of my good friends couldn't come but this was her party and I wanted her to be happy with the guest list. Also she only invited a few from school not the whole class she was kind of selective which was nice since the guest list wasn't too long.
Kendall (school)
Mia (School)
Selena (School)
Carrie (family friend)
Emily (church)
Lyla (church)
Resse (church)
She had 2 other friends from school and 1 from church that she invited but couldn't make it because of sickness.  It was a good amount of girls and they all had a lot of fun!

I was a little worried that we wouldn't fit all the games and activities we had planned in the 2 hour window.  Right after lunch we jumped into the Frozen scavenger hunt that took us around the whole house.
It was cute hearing them read the clues and guessing like .... "Who knew we owned a thousand salad (blank) and they would guess plates and then there was new clue.

After that we did the blindfold snowball game.  They had to transfer cotton balls from one bowl to the other blindfolded.  It was really funny to watch.

Then we did pin the nose on Olaf, always a favorite.

We didn't have time to do the Frozen bingo game that we made.  We had to get to the craft that I was so excited about!! I wanted the take home gift to be something useful and I just love the bubble gum necklaces that are so in style right now! I found a great lady on eBay selling the beads.  I was nervous how it would all work out but with all of my helpers we helped the girls make the most beautiful necklaces ever! I was really happy with how they came out.

Gift time! It's so much fun seeing all the homemade cards the girls make and all the fun things they pick out for the birthday girl.  Aubrey was very spoiled and loved all the fun new toys and activities.

 A quick family picture!
 Cake time!
 Pinata time!

 Best Friends!!

The 2 hours went by way to fast! We had a blast and could not be more in love with this little girl!
We did our traditional family pictures after all the guest had left.

We are so blessed to have both sets of grandparents live close enough to come and be party of these special events in our kids lives.

Thank you everyone for making this day so special for Aubrey!
