Pregnancy Update.....

Well as said in my last pregnancy post we have a month to go but I guess it actually looks like a weekend or maybe a week to go if we are lucky. I went in for my OB check on Wednesday and had high blood pressure and with my swelling being so bad and a few head aches to complain about my doctor sent us over to Labor & Delivery. I was hooked up to monitors and they ran tons of test and the results came back with early stages of pre-eclamsia. I was in the hospital all Wednesday and then got to come home and re-admitted on Thursday for some more monitoring my blood pressure was still a little high but baby was perfect as can be and happy to still be cozy and warm inside. My doctor let me go home but with some rules, my doctor put me on strike bed rest all day and the goal for us now is to keep baby Carter in until at least Monday. My mom was able to come out and help me with Aubrey and Spencer's parents are coming out this weekend to help so we feel so blessed to have all the support not to mention all of our friends and family that have just been wonderful calling and checking on us. While in the hospital I had 2 steroid shots for Carter's lungs and our pediatrician thinks that he will do well being born so early but of course we don't 100% know and are very nervous. I just wanted to keep everyone up to date on what we know as of now.

What we have been up to......

A couple of weekends ago it was the kick off to The Week of the Young Child. The city of Merced put on a huge hands on festival for preschool aged children. Aubrey had a blast!!!! It was so much fun seeing her playing with all the fun stuff, socializing with other kids, and just really enjoying herself. The weather was perfect and it was a great family activity day.

Aubrey hanging out with one of her best friends Emily.

Aubrey loves to help in the kitchen. We made yummy chocolate mousse a couple of Sunday's ago.

Working on her ATV in the backyard.

Taking a bath with her "pink eyes" as she calls them.

When we had Nana out last week we had lots of fun. One day we went to How to Train Your Dragon. It was a very cute movie and we had so much fun being together doing girl stuff for a couple of days.

Aubrey loves Toy Story so she is getting all ready for Number 3

The new hospital had an open house last Saturday and we got to go on an awesome tour. The hospital is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! We can't wait to have Carter there in a few weeks.

They have a helicopter landing and it was so much fun seeing the helicopters taking off and landing.

Pregnancy Number 2

As I'm finally approaching the end of this pregnancy I can finally look back and reflect on a couple of things. It has been a very tough road for me this time around. I had the typical first three months of terrible morning sickness and I keep thinking it shouldn't be this hard this time, I'm home most of the time and I'm not working full time but I forgot that having a two year old running around is a full time job. Aubrey and I also continued to work at the airport 1 day a week and I had all the normal house hold duties. I then felt good for about a month and then I got a miserable cold that has been with me ever since almost four months now. The cold turned into bronchitis which now has turned into asthma. I started swelling with Aubrey the last month I was pregnant with her but do to the sickness this time around I started swelling in March and it has just been getting worst. I just don't feel like myself and it has been very hard. My feet are huge and it is hard for me to get around.
I thought I would share a picture of the growing belly and body:

If I get up the guts I will take a picture of my feet one of these days they are pretty bad. I wanted to post about all this for a couple of reasons so I can remember this time and to hopefully feel a little better.

All in all I could never be more excited about the arrival of our little guy. I feel so blessed to have this opportunity to be a mom again and to keep our family growing. I'm so greatful for such a wonderful, helpful, supportive husband. Spencer has been doing everything and helping me through all the emotional roll coasters that I seem to be on every day. Also my family has been great helping with everything and being there for me too and I'm so thankful. My mom came out last week to help me with Aubrey which was just so wonderful and special. We have about a month left and are so excited. Thanks again to everyone for all the love and support.

Easter Part 2

We had Easter at our house this year. We had so much fun planning the meal and having everyone here. I'm starting to get pretty swollen with the pregnancy and I'm also getting over a really bad cold so Spencer did an amazing job taking charge. My family was also such a big help. It was a great day!

Nana and G'pa gave Aubrey a Snow White princess (her favorite) themed Easter basket.
She love it!

The Gang getting ready for dinner.

Spencer's awesome deviled eggs.

Dance Party with the Family!

Playing with play dough with Nana

Enjoying a yummy Chocolate Easter Bunny!
We had a wonderful Easter weekend being with all the people that we love and sharing all our family traditions. Happy Easter everyone!

Easter Morning

The Easter Bunny left lots of fun goodies, hid all the eggs, ate the carrot and wrote a little something back to Aubrey, she was very excited!

Time to hunt for eggs.

Aubrey found all her eggs pretty much by herself. She also got a cute stuffed animal that we hid on her pony. It was really cute when she walked by it at first she just waved and then said "hi" and continued looking for eggs. She makes us smile all the time!

Getting ready for the Easter Bunny

Saturday night we dyed our Easter eggs and wrote a letter to the Easter Bunny and left him a carrot.

Easter Part 1

The Saturday before Easter was our big annual Sup Easter celebration. We had a great time being together as a family, watching the kids do a huge Easter egg hunt, enjoying yummy food and celebrating Birthdays.

The Sup guys!

We celebrated all the January-March Birthdays so both Aubrey and daddy got to open gifts and blow out candles. Thank you everyone for all the great gifts.

Hanging Out

This last two weeks have been packed with fun stuff. I will post all our fun Easter pictures after this post. We have been hanging out a lot with family. My sister was here for almost the whole week for spring break which was so much fun. This picture is when we meet up with Nana for the day.

We also got to meet up for dinner with Nana and G'pa one of the days.

This picture is a little old but I still wanted to post it....
My parents got this really cute table for Aubrey and she has been enjoying it so so so much! She does all her crafts and eats almost every meal there. This particular night we all had dinner at the table with her.
