Easter Part 2

Easter morning we woke up to two very excited kids!! Their baskets were full of lots of fun stuff.
We then went downstairs to read the letter the Easter bunny left and then hunted for the 26 eggs that we colored.

They found other fun treats along the way.
 and cute stuffed bunnies.
After our fun morning we got ready and headed up to Sonora for the Schillerstrom Easter party.  The kids always get so spoiled from their nana, papa and titi!!  Lots of fun toys and treats! The table my mom did was so cute too!

We then headed up to Columbia for the annual Victorian Easter parade and egg hunt.  This is always such a fun event!

The parade was short and sweet.

Then it was time for the egg hunt.  They dye hundreds of real eggs and hide them all over the town.  They have different times for different age groups.  Aubrey and Carter went together and they both found 7 eggs!
Then we met the Easter bunny and Papa photo bombed.

After that fun event we went back to teh house for some more fun.  Spencer's eggs are always so yummy.
Ham dinner was to die for good! It was Papa, Nana, Titi, Gaga, Aunt Pat, Aunt Shelly and the 4 of us.  We had a great time eating, talking, laughing and playing games together.

I made a carrot cake for dessert for the grown ups and Titi surprised the kids with this very cool 3 tier rice krispie cake that they absolutely loved!

What a fun day! Fun weekend! Fun Easter season!

Easter Part 1

Saturday April 15th we hosted the Supinger Easter party.  It's always a little stressful thinking that we will be hosting 25 people in our home for a big meal, egg hunt, games and birthday parties! But I always love party planning and we were blessed with beautiful weather so all went great.... other then I got a horrible cold the day before and I could barley breathe!  Other then that the day was perfect! I had found the cutest bunny straws at Target and that is what I based all the decorations around.

It came out really pretty!

After our delicious feast it was time for the Easter egg hunt.

We also had our annual money hunt.
Then it was time to celebrate birthdays.  We celebrated Cayden, Carter, Aubrey, Grayson and Isaac.

Then everyone relaxed and played games.

After everyone left we cleaned up and got ready for the Easter bunny to come that night.

Easter Preparations

This year it seems like Easter was so late.  I kind of like it because it meant that spring break was later which means once we go back to school we only have a month until summer, yippie!! For my Activity Girls this month we got together Tuesday April 11th to all make Easter candy goody bags to take to a retirement home in our community.  These girls are all so sweet and I'm loving that I get to work with.

 What a great group!!
Maddy, Emma, Brenda, Molly, Eve, Emily, Korina, Lylah, Violette, Aubrey and Ruby!
Getting our eggs ready for school.
Thursday April 13th was the last day of school and Easter parties in both classrooms.  Carter's was in the morning.  We made Easter egg wreaths.
 Decorated cookies.
 and ate them.
and made a bunny bag to collect the eggs.
All the kids brought eggs in for the class and we ended up having 425 eggs!!! Right before another mom and I were going to go outside to hide the eggs it started pouring rain so we had to wait for them to go to lunch and hid the eggs in the classroom.
Man was that a lot of work hiding 425 eggs!!
After lunch the kids were super excited!

 What a fun party!!
Then it was time to go to Aubrey's class.  They all drew a beautiful egg and wrote a fictional tale about it.  Then we mkade a cute sticker egg craft and had treats.

It was a busy day!! But I knew our weekend was going to be even busier so we decided Thursday night would be a good night to color our Easter eggs.  This is always so much fun!! I love it too! We colored 26 eggs!! We would have done even more if we didn't have two parties were we were bringing the deviled eggs!

Friday April 14th we had our annual friend Easter egg hunt.  This year it was in Lori's backyard.  There where so many more places to hide the eggs then at the park.
