Dad's 38th Birthday

Yes it's true we are in our late 30's now! Crazy! We had so much fun celebrating Dad on his birthday March 3rd! We were so lucky to have it on a Saturday this year! All birthday's should be on Saturdays! The kids and I had a blast getting him all his favorite things.

I let the kids pick out there own gift this year.  Carter was thrilled when he saw this idea for his dad...

It's not only Star Wars it's also for his car.  Daddy loved it!
I put a cute super hero picture in a frame for dad

and some new work out pants...
Every time we are at Costco Spencer says how cool it would be to have a whole Snicker's box all to his self...
 Well his dream came true..

A couple months ago we were watching a weight lifting show on NetFlix and Spencer saw a guy wearing this shirt and said how much he would like to have that shirt.  Well I remembered just in time to get it for him for his birthday.
 He was very excited!
Aubrey drew him the cutest card.

and got him a Mrs. Pacman game (one of his favs!)

Then I gave the kids their table prizes.

Then dad went to the gym, I did my run and then we all got ready for basketball.  What a great dad to coach even on his birthday! After the games we told him to pick where ever he wanted for lunch.  It was pretty random that he picked KFC! But hay it was good and a fun treat since we never eat there! Weird thing was that another couple took our food at the counter when they called our name! They played the don't speak English card and ended up getting all our food for free.  We had to wait for them to make our food again for us.  It was pretty annoying but maybe those other people really needed the food.  We enjoyed our very fried lunch!
Then it was off to the movies to see Black Panther (dad's pick).  We all really enjoyed it!

After the movie we came home and hung out.  Then dad blew out his candles and we enjoyed his favorite carrot cake that I make him every year.

After cake we hung out and watched another movie and then were hungry again so we ordered a feast from Pizza Factory, LOL.
It was a day full of eating and having fun.  We sure love you dad! Thanks for being the best dad/hubby ever.  You still look 17 in my eyes.  I love getting old with you and I love getting to celebrate all our birthdays together as a family! Love you cutie!

Dr Seuss Week

Monday 2/26 was back to school and it was Dr. Seuss week.  The kids had a blast picking out silly outfits all week.
Monday 2/26 crazy sock day...
Tuesday 2/27 crazy hair (Tuesday is also PE day so they like dressing in work out clothes)
Wednesday 2/28 was book character day.
Aubrey was Where's Waldo and Carter was Fly Guy
That evening Carter finished his four walker.  It looks so cool and amazing that he can do a 14+ Lego set!
Thursday 3/1 was "oh the places you will go" they could wear either College shirts or vacation shirts.  Aubrey had on both.  She is wearing my old college sweat shirt and under a vacation shirt.  Carter is wearing his Disneyland shirt.
Spencer had to go to the bay again that day to help move.  I had my favorite things party that night.  Nana was so sweet to come down and hang out with us and watch the kids for me so I could go to the party.  Nana and I went to lunch when I got off work and then we went shopping.  That night we had a fun pizza party all together before I had to leave for the party and then the kids got to watch a movie while I was at the party.  This year I brought cake plates:
Friday 3/2 was hat day.  So happy we had Nana here!

President's week

Super awesome having a whole week off of school in February this year! We came home from Reno on Monday 2/19.
Tuesday 2/20 the kids were so nice to come to work with me for a couple hours.  They like going since they get so many treats, like their own cheese pizza and candy from the vending machine.  Once we got home we made some of Aubrey's growing crystals.

Wednesday 2/21 I took the kids to see Peter Rabbit, too cute!
Thursday 2/22 we had a fun day making American Girl crafts and slime
Carter had Megan over for a play date that day.

That evening Spencer went to the bay area to help move his parents out of their house into his sisters house so the kids and I had a sleep over in my room.  They are so cute all the time but when they are sleeping it really melts my heart! I love that they are mine!

Friday 2/23 was a very important day! It was Spencer's and I's anniversary of dating! 20 years ago this day I said yes to being this cute guys girlfriend!
I can't believe its been 20 years and still feels like yesterday!
On Friday during the day I took the kids to Rockin Jump.

I was going to jump with them but they said they just wanted to jump together so I took the time to have a nice massage.

Once Spencer got home and our baby sitter got here we went out on a date.  We went to dinner at Strings and then to the movies to see Game Night.  It was very funny!

When we came home the kids and sitter had made us dessert...
Saturday 2/24 we had basketball games and then Sunday 2/25 went to church.  Carter looked so cute after church reading his book.
