Summer activities at home

We are keeping busy with fun activities every day. We did shaving cream art the other day. It was quite interesting with little Carter man this time.

water table fun:

Aubrey drew this picture today:

Isn't it so so so cute! Her details are amazing. It's hard to believe a 3 year old did it. She is doing great with her art work she impresses us everyday with her creativity.

Wild Water Adventure & BBQ

Titi and Auntie came out this last weekend and we all had a blast. On Saturday we went to Wild Water Adventure Water Park in Clovis. This was our first time there and it was a lot of fun. The children's area was huge and Aubrey had a ball. The adult water slides were also a lot of fun. It was hard to take a lot of pictures since I didn't want the camera to get wet but I did get a few.

On Sunday my parents came down for the day and we all had a BBQ and relaxed.

Dance Party!

It was a nice weekend!

Random, yet cute

Carter will probably kill me for this when he is older but I think it's cute that he likes to carry a wand around. There is noting cuter then a man with his wand right?

I actually have video footage of him with butterfly wings and a wand.

We pulled out all of our Halloween costumes the other day and had a dress up party. It was hard to get a good picture since both Aubrey and Carter were running around like crazy.

Aubrey is starting to be a big help.

The other day while I was in the laundry room I heard "okay Carter all done with breakfast?" Then I heard her pulling over her chair to the sink and I looked out and saw her cleaning of his tray. It was too cute!

Last week was the most beautiful week here!!! It was in the high 70's and we spent all day outside. We played with bubbles, rode bikes, went on walks, and went to the park almost every day.

Thursday morning Carter attempted to eat with a spoon or should I say two spoons. He did pretty good.

Crafts & Projects

We have been having a busy summer doing lots of great activities but I still have found some little time to do some crafts. My small business, Scattered Expressions has been doing quite well the last few months. I have made lots of family established frames, boards, and car & wall decals. I have also been busy making gifts. I sometimes forget to take pictures of everything but here are a few:

Not sure I have already shared my laundry sign but I love it so I'm posting it again just in case:

Our neighbors next door just had their first baby and named him Kiernan. We got them a bag full of goodies and I also made them these (the new daddy is a firefighter):

This was for a friend's birthday:

I can't take all the credit for this project I had some helpers:

Daddy put the shelf together and the kids filled the buckets. I was very happy with how it turned out. I'm even happier with how clean my patio stays now!

Softball

The season is over for the Red Dragon's softball team. It was a pretty good season for them. Spencer enjoyed getting out and playing and the kids and I enjoyed watching and cheering. We can't wait to go to many more games in the future.

4th of July

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend this year. We have been hosting the Sup family 4th of July for the last 5 years. The whole family decided to switch things up this year so we had Easter and Brian and family (which are in Stockton) had 4th of July. It has been nice to celebrate different events at different houses this year. The party was on Saturday and it started with the kids playing outside on the slip in slide and kiddie pool. We had an awesome bbq for lunch/dinner.

They have a big community pool within walking distance that the kids took turns playing at. We also had lots of great family quality time through out the day.

Another change this year is how we do birthdays. In the past we would buy birthday gifts for everyone and celebrate at all the different holidays. This year we drew families and bought one big family gift. We got Adam's family and what they really wanted was gift cards to restaurants so that is what we did and I also made them this menu tile for their kitchen. It was fun seeing all the ideas everyone came up with. We are excited to use our Costco card that we got.

After cake we all packed up and went to the Stockton Ports baseball game. It was so much fun and a wonderful idea. The kids and the grown up all had a blast. They had an amazing firework show that night.

After our Sup celebration on Saturday we had fun celebrating as our family of four the following two days. We enjoyed some bbq from Big Bubba's Bad BBQ (Aubrey's favorite!), lots of swimming, shopping, Atwaters 4th of July celebration, and our own mini firework show.

Happy 4th of July!
