The first 2 weeks of March

The first week of March was Dr. Seuss spirit week at school.
Monday February 29th was Cat in the Hat day...
Tuesday March 1st was wear red, blue, yellow and green day.
Tuesday also was Carter's field trip to Beauty and the Beast at the Merced Theater.  I loved my little carpool crew.  Mauren, Victoria, Ander and Carter.

The play was super cute and we had great seats!
Wednesday was Thing 1 and Thing 2 twin day.

Thursday (daddy's birthday) was crazy sock day.
and Friday was school spirit day wear your Peterson shirt.  I forgot to take a picture that day.  It was a fun week!! I'm not 100% when all these next things happened I just know they were taken towards the beginning of March and I wanted to make sure I posted them.
I love trips to the mall with this cutie and our frequent stops to See's.
Almost St. Patrick's day means lots of St. Patrick's day crafts.  We made a trap again but I didn't get pictures until the real day which will probably be my next post.
How cute are these guys?!?! It reminded us of the tall guy at the parade we see each year.

Aubrey lost her 9th tooth! It crazy because Carter doesn't even have a wiggly one yet!

This letter was just too cute!! And guess what the fairy door arrived....
I love lunch dates with my guy!
March 12th was the last day of basketball.  The kids loved it! We really enjoyed watching them play and by the end of the season they were super stars! It was a lot of fun!! I had snack for Carter's team on the last day.  How cute are these cupcakes?!? Thanks Raley's!
They both looked so cute in their pictures!
I was a little dissapointed in the group shot such a weird angle!

I tried to get a better picture at the last game.

On Sunday March 13th we got to go to an award ceremony before church.  They had a cool guy that did some neat tricks like bending a poll, ripping a phone book in half and breaking through a bunch of cement.  He was an inspirational speaker and the kids really enjoyed his message.
Monday March 14th we had a pizza party with Aubrey's team it was fun hanging out one last time.

Then I took the kids to Hobby Lobby and yes were the group the workers could not wait to kick out of the store.

Spencer's 36th Birthday

It's hard to believe that Spencer's 36th birthday was almost a whole month ago but when you see our pictures from March 2016 you will understand it has been one BUSY month for us!
Thursday March 3rd was Spencer's big day.  He woke up to a decorated door.  I love doing these doors for the kids and for him.  It is a fun way to look back and reflect on our year together.  We were so blessed this last year pretty much every monthly picture was a trip or an adventure that we got to do.
After our walk down memory lane we headed downstairs for some gifts.
Carter was excited to pick daddy out a new Star Wars shirt.
Aubrey got daddy a cool ab roller.
Spencer has such a nice big office at work that practically sits empty I beg and beg to decorate it but it's just not his thing.  I could not resist this super cool magnet board that I know will look awesome above his desk.

After playing with some of his new toys he was off to work and we were off to school for the day.  My dad and brother had an inspection in Merced that day and asked us to lunch at all of our new favorite Indian Restaurants here in town,  Spencer just loves the lunch buffet and would go every day if I let him.  He was super excited that my dad wanted to take us there on his birthday. We even picked Aubrey up from school for the lunch date.
The ladies that work there are too cute! I told them it was Spencer's birthday and he picked to go to there restaurant for his big day and they were so flattered they put together a nice dessert plate for him.
After our very yummy lunch we came home to work on some decorations for daddy.

And finished up his favorite carrot cake and wrapped a few more gifts.

The kids love birthdays for the table prices.  Carter has taken off with his reading skills.  We are so proud of him.

Then it was off to Dad's favorite dinner place, Sushi Cuisine.  I may have spoiled the kids a little too much this time with table prices but oh well they are just too fun to buy for!

Dinner was super good! Man do we eat good on birthdays!!! It was then home for cake and a movie.

I would have to say it was a great day!!
Happy 36th cutie! I love you more and more each birthday!
