Fresno Zoo

Last week my mom and sister came out for a couple of days. On Thursday we went to the Fresno Zoo. It was so much fun and Aubrey was way into it.

They have an AWESOME giraffe exhibit. You get to get up close to the giraffes and feed them. We let Aubrey do it and she loved it.

It was a great day and a wonderful girl's week.

First Day of Nursery

A couple weekends ago Aubrey had her first day of nursery at our church. She did great we thought she might be a little nervous and that she would like one of us to stay with her but the minute she saw the toys and her friend Everett she was off. The teacher said she did very well. She got to bring home a project that she did.

On the Saturday of that same weekend we went to the Multi Cultural Center in our town and saw a fabulous Native American presentation Aubrey was mesmerized by all the dancing and music.

After that we went to lunch. Aubrey really enjoys coloring.

Children's Discovery Museum

The weekend that Spencer and I went away for our anniversary Aubrey went to her Nana's and G'Pa's for the weekend. On Saturday they went to the Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose. Here are some fun pictures of there weekend.

After the museum they all went and visited with Great-Grandpa Merv and Joan. Aubrey even got to play the piano with Joan and Nana.

Aubrey's 18 month pictures

I took Aubrey to get her 18 month pictures done earlier this week. It sure was hard to keep an 18 month old from running out of the studio but well worth it in the end. We are very happy with how they turned out.

Aubrey is 18 months today!!!!

Aubrey had her 18 month doctors appointment yesterday and is doing great. I had an appointment to go get her 18 month pictures done tomorrow but this morning while outside she fell and hit her forehead. She is fine just has a bump right in the middle of her eyebrows. So when you look at her picture that's why it is so big we re-scheduled for next week.

She is starting to copy everything we do and say. Tonight when I was saying good night to her I left the room saying "I love you" and it sounded like she said it back and waved it was very cute.

Aubrey's favorite toys right now are Fisher Price Little People she has over 50 of them and just loves to carry them everywhere and sort them in groups. She also loves my swiffer duster. When ever I'm dusting she has to help.

This evening we went to Summer Fest on Main Street.

Our 4 Year Wedding Anniversary

Four years ago on July 30th 2005 this was us....

and this is us now...

We celebrated our four year wedding anniversary last Thursday. We have had the BEST four years ever being married and 11 years being together. Spencer is such a wonderful husband, father and best friend I could ever ask for and I feel so lucky everyday that I get to wake up next to him. He is my true soul mate.

In honor of our anniversary we went on a fantastic weekend away, just the two of us. This was the first time that I have ever been away from Aubrey overnight. It was a little hard but I knew that she was in good hands and having fun with my parents, sister and brother.

Spencer and I went to Sonoma, Ca for a very relaxing weekend. We stayed at The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa. It was a beautiful hotel and we were definately pampered. We did spa treatments, relaxed by the pool, and ate the most wonderful food ever. It was so nice to have some time just being us together.

It was a perfect Anniversary weekend away and we were very excited to see our little Aubrey when we got back.

Back in the swing of things.

We are all better know and having a fun summer. After we got home from the hospital Spencer came down with the flu but we were able to keep him hydrated so we stayed away from the hospital for him. I actually skated by not getting it thank goodness it was a really BAD flu.

When Aubrey got home we went and got her the cutest stroller and it hasn't left her hands since. She loves pushing it all around the house putting everything in it that she can.

Our Friends from Arizona sent Aubrey some get well balloons that she just loved.

A couple weekends ago we had the chance to go check out mom and dad's property in Sonora and it is really coming along. They should be able to pour the foundation hopefully this week. The lake was beautiful and it was so much fun just relaxing watching the guys work.

We had a yummy picnic lunch at a really fun park in Sonora where Aubrey got to run around.

Spencer's brother and family were in town from Utah last week and they came and stayed with us for a night. We had fun catching up, having a BBQ and watching a movie.

Last week Aubrey had her friends over for a swim/snack party.

We are having a fun summer with our family and friends. We are so thankful that we are all back to normal around here.
