Christmas fun!

It's hard to believe that Christmas 2015 has already past.  We had a wonderful month of December filled with so many great memories.  It seems like the whole month is busy every day and night is filled with Holiday cheer and fun.  There was so many activities I felt sad that I had to pick and choose and I couldn't make it to everything this year.  Family is number 1 and just being with them at home cozy under a blanket watching a Christmas movie together is sometimes the better choice.  I was happy that I think I found a perfect balance of that this year so we were not stressed and enjoyed what we could make it too and also enjoyed the spirit of Christmas at home together.
Tuesday December 8th Girl Scout Gingerbread house night.
Lots and lots of snow flake making this year.
Making a popcorn garland for our tree upstairs with the homemade ornaments on it.

Playdates
Thursday December 10th I was invited to a very fun progressive dinner with my friend Mary.
What a fun group of ladies!
Friday December 11th was my work Christmas party.

Saturday December 12th making Christmas trains at Lowe's.
That was also Deuce's 10th Birthday!!!
Happy Birthday Deucie we love you!!
Sunday December 13th we made our gingerbread house.  We also went to a Christmas concert that night at our church.

Monday December 14th I hosted my annual ornament party.  I was sad to not get a picture of the whole group or of the dessert table this year.  It was a great turn out I think like 18 ladies.  I had friends from school and church.  Also my sister and mom came down for the night.  I was so happy to have then there!
After the party my sister went back to Sonora and my mom stayed the night.  When we were turning off all the lights to go upstairs to bed I drooped my iPhone.  I drop my phone a lot but this was the first time it didn't sound too good.  When I went to pick it up sure enough it was completely cracked all over.  I think I was in shock.  Thank goodness my mom was there to help me figure out what to do.  I called apple and sure enough I had 5 more days until my 1 year warranty was up.  They told me to go the apple store and they would fix it for $100.  It was good timing because my mom and I's plan the next day was Christmas shopping.  We were going to stay local but this gave us the opportunity to go to Modesto.
Well the people at the Apple store were very nice and said to come back in an hour and my phone would be fixed.  So we did when I came back they told me that they couldn't fix my phone and I would need to buy a new one for $300 when she handed me my broken phone it was more broken then when I left it so I knew either it wasn't my phone or they broke it more in the back.  Thank goodness I had the picture because I could prove that it wasn't my phone.  The lady was convinced it was my phone but they ended up feeling bad and were going to give me a new phone for the $100 that I was going to spend to get it fixed.  Well when they changed the Sim card out sure enough it wasn't my phone.  So my phone was fixable and they had given it to another customer and the phone I was looking at was his/hers.  The thought of someone out there in Modesto having my phone with my pictures, passwords, info everything got me pretty scared and the Apple store employees were feeling very bad.  Then this sweet lady walked in and she was the person that had my phone so I felt a little better.  With all this confusion I ended up getting my phone fixed for free the other lady got a new phone for free and my mom talked the lady into giving me a new $50 case for free.  What an event!!! I was happy it all worked out.  My mom and I had so much fun shopping and going out to lunch.  It was such a treat to have her all to myself.  Sadly we didn't get any pictures except me being silly about hats not fitting my huge head.
That night was the white elephant girl scout party.
Wednesday December 16th was Carter's field trip to the mall.  Daddy went with him.  They sang all their songs on a stage near the food court.  Carter loved all teh old ladies dancing.  I need to get the pictures from this trip off Spencer's phone.  After singing they went to see Santa.
On Wednesday I was the elf at Aubrey's school.  Santa (Mayor Stan) called me at 7am sick as a dog so we had to get a new Santa this year.  Mr Kelly filled in and did great.

After school that day we went over to Karessa's for a little play date/primary meeting.  She was so cute to set up an activity for the kids.
Wednesday night we worked on the kids friends and teachers gifts.

Aubrey wanted to make a subway art for Mrs. Haar.
Carter decided he wanted to make a picture for his teachers.  He designed the whole thing his self.
and wrapped it.
Thursday December 17th was the last day of school before Christmas break.  It was an early day too they both got ourt at 12:30 that day.
I was excited to help out with gingerbread houses in her class that day.

The 1st graders came and caroled to us.
Mrs. Haar opening her gifts.
We were taking Kendall home that day for our party at our house so we left early to go catch the tail end of Carter's party.

Carter had a pj day at school.
It was a Poloar Express party.
He loved it! He actually got a ticket at the begining of the week and he kept it so safe because he didn't want to lose it.
After the school parties I hosted a gingerbread party at our house.  Aubrey invited, Kendall, Sophie (her sister Abby), and Eli (and her sister Siri).  Carter invited Cord, Ian and Anderson but poor Andersen was home sick.  This was the best party ever! I had my friend Tiffany there helping me and we made the cutest houses for the kids to decorate.  We also did a gingerbread craft.  The kids had a blast.  For the snack we had milk and cookies they also had some hot cholate after they played a little outside.  It was my first time doing a party that had both groups of friends.  We had a few arguments girls vs. boys but all in all it was great and something I would love to do every year.

Friday December 18th it felt nice to sleep in.  Frosty has been doing lots of funny things around here.  That morning he was taking a ride down the stairs.
I actually had time to make a fun breakfast that morning.
It was daddy's company party that day.  I dressed Carter to match his daddy.

Star Wars came out that day and we were excited that it worked out to get tickets.  I can't believe I'm a Star Wars fan.  I never thought I would say that.  Carter and daddy got into it and then got Aubrey and I to try and sure enough I got hooked and Aubrey and I ended up being just as excited as the boys were to see it.  I was a little worried since this is the only PG-13 movie my kids have ever seen but since it's a classic we went with it.  The movie was awesome and they loved every minute of it.
Saturday December 19th Spencer helped me make the primary children's Christmas gift this year.
We had plans to go to party that night but we all just wanted a family night so we decided to do some shopping out in Turlock and have a nice dinner at Cool Hand Luke's.  We also went to a fun light exhabit that night.
Sunday Dece, ber 20th I was in charge of the Christmas sharing time.  We did a hot choloate bar with cookies.  I played a Nativity video and then we talked all about the differnt people in the Nativity and read some verses from teh scriptures. It was a great sharing time and the kids loved the blocks.

I love how Deuce wanted to be in the kids pictures.
After church we worked on Christmas press cookies to drop off at our negihbors houses.
I was excited to get a paid day off Monday December 21st.  We works on wrapping and some more shopping.  We also met up with daddy for lunch that day at Round Table for the pizza buffet.  Then the kids and I packe the car and heaed up to the mountains to spend some time with the family.  Monday night we had a yummy home cooked meal and played games.

Tuesday December 22nd we made and decorated cookies to take to my grandpa's retairment home.

They came out so cute and colorful.
That nigt we went to the casino for dinner and to play in the arcade.
Papa teaching the kids a magic trick.

Wednesday December 23rd we dropped off our cookies at Grandpa's place.  The people were all so grateful.  It was really cute seeing Carter and Aubrey pass them out and say Merry Christmas it melted my heart.
We then got all layerd up for an awesome snow day!! Carter loved it this year.  We had a blast and yes we ran into someone from Peterson, Brady lol.  Every where we go we see someone we know!  It was so much fun watching everyone play and love the snow.

Gaga made a self portrait in the snow

After our snow play we devoured a chesse pizza and some hot chololate.

Then the kids and I said our good byes and headed home to see daddy.  It was a great Christmas trip with the family.  I was excited to come home and find these beautiful flowers from my hubby.
Next up Christmas Eve.  What a month!!!!!
