Easter Sunday

Aubrey had been talking about the Easter bunny non stop for almost a month so when Easter Sunday came around she was up very early and very excited!!! I was a little worried we wouldn't get everything done since we had lots to do before Church at 9am but we had plenty of time. The Easter bunny left the baskets on the landing this year. I wish I would have been down there to get a better shot of their faces when they saw their baskets oh well. They were very excited and got lots of fun things.
They pulled everything out of their baskets so that they could start hunting for eggs and other goodies. When I was younger the Easter bunny would always hide a stuffed animal and a chocolate bunny. I'm happy to see that the Easter bunny now a days is still doing the same thing.
So happy!
After the celebrations we had yummy cinnamon rolls. It was special this year because we had Titi here with us. She came to Church with us too. After Church we took some family pictures all dressed up.
Then Nana, Papa, and Gaga came over for the day. The Easter Bunny also came to Nana and Papa's and brought the kids some fun goodies.
We played some ping pong.
Then Aubrey hid the eggs for us to find. She found some great hiding places.
Then we did confetti eggs. Not sure who's idea it was to do it on all the adults heads?!? The kids got a kick out of it.
Then we made our Easter Sunday dinner. It was delicious!
Two big family parties! What a fun weekend!
We hope you all had a wonderful Easter too!

Easter Egg Time

Saturday night we got all ready for the bunny to come. We died a bunch of eggs and then put monster stickers on them, Aubrey did most of the work. They came out very cute!
Then we got our baskets ready and laid everything out for the bunny.
Aubrey wrote this letter to the Easter bunny all by her self. She asked me how to spell like and bunnies. She formed the sentence, and knew how to write all the letter. We are very proud of her! Then we all went to bed and got some much needed rest.

Supinger Easter

We were very excited to host the Supinger Easter party again this year. I think it's my favorite party to host. I love the spring weather, the fun pastel colors and our annual Easter egg hunt. It was a perfect weekend the weather was fabulous. Like always I forgot to take pictures off all the decorations but you can see some in the back ground. We had a total of 22 people this year; 12 adults and 10 kids. We made a ham dinner with tons of fun sides, Spencer's special delved eggs, my carrot cake, cupcakes and a new treat this year dipped orange strawberries. Added to our guest list this year were the missionaries. Spencer's family always does such a great job inviting Elders in the area for whatever party they are hosting and I hope to carry on that tradition. They fit right in with our family and even hid the 160+ eggs for all the kids.
We celebrated 3 of the kids birthdays, Carter was one of them.
After gifts we did our egg hunt.
Then dessert.
Family Pictures.

Getting Ready for Easter

We had a great few weeks before Easter getting our house decorated, doing crafts, local Easter egg hunts, and planning two Easter parties. Here are a few pictures from those few weeks some don't have anything to do with Easter but I wanted to post it anyways.

I found these adorable vintage Easter ornaments at a cute store up in Sonora and I had Aubrey help make a tree and hang all the ornaments.
Pinterest is my new addiction! I love it! I have found some wonderful ideas and this is one of them:
Aubrey and I had a lot of fun making these cupcakes we made them 3 different times this Easter season so we got good practice. Here are a few more crafts that I worked on:
In the middle of all our Easter preparations we got to met up with Nana in Modesto for the day.
On that same weekend we got this beauty:
It was an awesome Craig's list that we couldn't be more happy with. Okay back to Easter stuff. April 1st my mom's group had an Easter egg hunt, craft, photo fundraiser. It was fun getting the kids dressed up in their Easter fits a little early.
Aubrey enjoyed all the activities.
This is where Carter spent all his time:
Here is our family picture:
The week of Easter we did some kind of Easter activity each day. Monday we watched a video about Jesus and his life and we went through the Resurrection eggs that we made last year. Another day we colored our waffles like Easter eggs and the other few days we did crafts. It was a fun week.
This was Aubrey making a carrot.
Making hand sheep's.
Also that week we made it over to family night at Round Table Pizza. This was our first time and it was so much fun! We will definitely be going back soon.
On Friday our friends invited us to an Easter egg hunt that was at a retirement home. Spencer came home early that day to do some yard work so him and Carter stayed home and Aubrey and I went to the egg hunt. She found a ton of eggs and even got to pet a baby chick.
Wow what a fun week!!
