First Two Weeks of December

We were so lucky to have grandma here for the first two weeks of December.  After our big Thanksgiving party on Saturday we had a nice rest.  When Sunday morning came I could hardly believe it was already December 1st and I felt so behind on our Christmas decorating!! So after Church we went straight to work! Well the kids, grandma and dad took naps and watched movies while I pulled everything out.  We then all worked on the tree that night.  It was so fun all being in matching PJ's (grandma included) decorating our tree all together.

It was a real treat having grandma there!
December Relief Society newsletter...
Full Christmas mood meant getting all the pumpkins out of the yards and ready for the picnic lunch at the school.  I thought they looked so cool in the back of the truck...
Aubrey was super busy with her science fair project most of November and did her final touches the beginning of December.  She did a great job and actually was one of the two winners from her class.  She did research on if the length of your phone charger determined the amount of time it would take to charge your phone....

 Craft time with grandma...
Wednesday December 4th I hosted my annual ornament exchange party.  It was nice having it early because it got me to get all my decorating done!! Man was it a busy day though! Poor Macy had to have her appointment to be spayed that day in Turlock, Aubrey had girl scouts, Carter had Christmas caroling at a retirement home and we had the party! Even though it was a busy day it was fun and I loved having grandma there.  She was the cutest at the party sharing pictures of Spencer and I in high school to my friends!
More treats came in as the night went on...

It was a great turn out!
Carter's troop singing...
Aubrey got to make an adorable snowman at girl scouts...
and poor Macy had to recover from her surgery...
Thursday December 5th was the Relief Society Christmas dinner at the church. It was pretty amazing.  The decorations were unreal and the music, food and entertainment was delightful.

Friday December 6th was the end of fall family picnic at the school that I volunteered at.  Dad brought grandma to have lunch with Crater...
My friend Wanda and I get mistaken as the same person all the time! People call us twins so when grandma thought saw her she said she needed a picture with us both haha!
Friday night grandma took us to dinner to Sizzler
We went and looked at Christmas lights after...
Saturday December 7th the kids had basketball try outs...

I made cookies for our friends cookie exchange that night...
Carter, Millie and I braved the cold for the Merced Christmas parade down main street.

That night we had a Christmas party at the Chu's...
Sunday December 8th we had church.  I love dressing Christmasy all month!
When we got home the kids put on their PJ's so a relaxing day at home watching movies...
 making their teachers gifts...
 and playing games....
If Christmas time was busy enough I volunteered to make the teacher lunch buckets for the whole school! 23 Buckets in all.....

The teachers loved them and I got so many thank you notes!
Monday and Tuesday I took grandma shopping and we watched lots of Christmas movies together.
Wednesday December 11th I took the kids to the courthouse to see their troop trees on display..

Wednesday night was Aubrey's band concert she did amazing...

Thursday December 12th Spencer took the day off to be with his mom and took her to Stockton to go with our nephew to the Oakland temple to get his endowments.
Friday December 13th we took the kids to the movies to see Jumanji 2
Saturday December 14th I put together a  couples progressive dinner/white elephant party.
We hosted the main course...

So fun to be with our friends and celebrate the holiday season.

Sunday December 15th we went up to Stockton to hear our nephews farewell talk.  He is going to Texas for his mission! Crazy because I remember when he was born and now he is leaving on a mission! We will miss you Blake!
Terry came out from Utah to be part of the fun day.  It was fun for grandma to have 5 of her kids together.
When we came home we had to take Millie to get her shots so we took Macy too and she loved the turtles haha
My brother sent me this picture of Murphy and it looks so cool!!!!
