Our Little Artist

Aubrey is such a little artist. She loves all kinds of crafts and art. She will color all day if we let her. I have been trying to think of some new ways to keep her busy. Titi gave us a great idea, saving cream art. Aubrey had a blast! (Check out her new hair do!)

When I was younger I use to play with Gack. So we made some and it has been an awesome activity that keeps Aubrey very busy.

End of the summer fun

Our awesome public library has so many fun activities. A few Fridays ago it was an apple themed day. Aubrey loved the apple snack. Later that week they had a puppet show we all went to.

A couple of weekends ago Aubrey, Carter and I went to Sonora to see how the house was coming along and to hang out with my parents. Spencer went fishing with his dad and brothers that day.

Aubrey loves helping dad wash the cars.

Enjoying the warm weather with Deuce.

Carter's 1st Solids

At Carter's 4 month appointment his doctor gave us the aok to start feeding him solids. We waited until we where home from vacation. Carter first tried rice cereal on Friday September 10th. He did great! He sure does love to eat.

Carter's schedule at 4 1/2 months:
Carter nurses every three hours in the day time. We usually give him a little food before we eat dinner. He has tried green beans and carrots. I will post those pictures soon. Carter takes lots of naps through out the day and then at night he takes a long nap from 7-10pm then I feed him and he is out until 7 in the morning. He is a great baby!

Our Watermelon

We have had a great garden this year. I should have taken more pictures of all the yummy stuff we have eaten. We had tons of lettuce, tomatoes, zucchini, and green onions. We also planted watermelons but had not seen any really growing until we got home from vacation and found this in our backyard.......

Can you believe it?

It was huge! and so so so yummy!

Family Vacation 2010

Our family vacation this year was AWESOME. Spencer took a whole week off of work and we did tons of great things. This was also Carter's first real trip. Our vacation started off in Aptos for our friends wedding and then we went on to Gilroy to the Gilroy Gardens and then to Monterey where we spent three nights.

Our first day at Gilroy Gardens. Nana and Papa came with us that day.

We all had a blast at Gilroy Gardens. We ended up getting season passes so we will hopefully be going a lot.

After Giroy we were off to Monterey. We stayed at the Portola hotel and it was beautiful! Spencer surprised me with a family suite. It was amazing and it was perfect for us. I loved it so much and I didn't want to leave.

Our hotel was a 2 min. walk to the Wharf. We went there for dinner two of the nights.

The hotel gave the kids these cute little seals when we checked in.

Relaxing with daddy.

Monterey Bay Aquarium!

Aubrey loved all the "rishies" We couldn't keep up with her. She wanted to see everything. It was a very fun day.

Cannery Row

For the last few weeks all we have heard Aubrey talk about is ducks. She loves feeding ducks so on our walk to the park we spotted ducks and since we didn't have bread with us we fed them her goldfish snacks. They loved it and so did she.

Dennis the Menace Park!

I love my boys!

Aubrey usually loves water fountains and this one was cool but kind of dirty (as you can see from her face).

After the park we had an afternoon at the pool. The pool was beautiful and it was heated so even better.

My Museum. It was a museum for toddlers where Aubrey got to play with lots of fun things.

We ended our awesome vacation feeding the ducks again. It was so much fun spending great quality time with our family. I can't wait until our next fun trip.

While we were on vacation Deuce was with our wonderful neighbors. It was a vacation for Deuce! He got to go to the dog park a couple times, went on a walk two times a day and had some time away from the kids.
