The Rest of February 2020

Wednesday February 12th we spent the day driving home from vacation and getting caught up on laundry and ready for back to school the next day.  We made back just in time for Valentine's day and only 2 days left of school until a week off for President's week.
Carter got right to work on his Valentine's...
While on vacation there was a big award ceremony and Carter was honored for an award.
He is so smart!!!!
Thursday February 13th Aubrey had a big band performance at the theater downtown.  She did great!
It was a made dash to get all our Valentine's done in time.  We did it!
I made the teachers and office staff my favorite Valentine muddy buddy mix.
Aubrey went for a more traditional Valentine to pass out this year.  She had fun getting them ready.
and since she has a boy friend now and the talk around the school was that he got her a really fancy Valentine she couldn't show up empty handed...
She got him his favorite candy and since he loves baseball she got him some fun gumballs.
I was happy I got all my shopping done before vacation so I could set out a fun surprise for the kids on Friday morning February 14th.....

They looked cute all ready for a fun day at school.
I got to sub on Valentine's Day so it was fun to sneak into Carter's class and see what they were up too...
Once school was out I got to see my girl.....
Wow Evan out did himself!!! What a huge bear and the box of chocolates!!!!! Aubrey was excited but she said she felt a little weird walking around school with all that stuff.

How cute is my Valentine?!?!...
He left me a note in the car and a fun surprise when we got home from school!
 I love my man!!
Now that we were at home I could get a better look at what this boy got my girl!
We also went through all the kids Valentine's...
That night dad and I got to go on a nice date to our favorite Thai restaurant.
 Saturday mornings around here....
Saturday February 15th we got to go to a really nice BYU dance performance downtown.
Sunday February 16 we went to church and then took our bike over to UC Merced and road around it was so fun.
President's week February 17th-21st was no school.
(We really needed a break, haha)
Monday February 17th was Presidents Day so dad had that day off too.  We started our day with a nice cycle class at the gym.  We than took a day trip up to Hilmar to have lunch at the Cheese Factory...
and then did a super fun Escape room as a family.
That night was basketball practice and also a girl scout event that we went to real quick.
Tuesday February 18th we picked Noah up and went to the new Sonic movie which was really fun..

 Did a little Costco shopping...
and brought him home for a sleep over.  They played games, played Lego's and watched movies.
Wednesday we just hung out and they had a picnic.
That evening Aubrey got to have her friends over.  They don't like taking pictures as much.
They had fun talking, playing games, watching movies and staying up way too late!!
Thursday the 20th I took them to the mall.  We had got approval from the moms to let them walk around the mall alone.  I was a little worried just because it was new but I trusted Aubrey and I had my find iphone app on the entire time to keep an eye on them.

Once we arrived at the mall.  I was surprised to see a few others kids from there school there so it was a big group walking around together.  They did good and I think they really liked the independence.
Carter and I spent our time in the arcade which was fun.

Friday we spent the day doing arts and crafts.  I had volunteered to make the center pieces for the Cub Scout blue and gold dinner.  It was a outer space theme so we made cool pots and then put planets in the flowers...

I also made this banner...
Saturday basketball games...

Sunday the 23rd church and then working on Carter's pinewood derby car...

Tuesday February 25th I got to sub in Aubrey's class.  I had them draw these cute leprechauns...

 Cute picture of Millie...
Wednesday February 26th was the Blue & Gold ceremony...
They did a time capsule and Carter decided to put a storm trooper Lego guy in it...
All the art they had been working on was on display...

Saturday February 29th the gang all came down to watch some basketball games and have an early birthday celebration for Spencer....

It's always so fun to have them watch the kids play a sport.  Both teams did great and both kids made baskets so it was lots of fun!
After the games we headed over to Sizzler to celebrate this guy....

What a fun month February was!!!
Looking back we were so busy and I loved every minute of it!
