September 2017

September 2017 where did you go?  Hard to believe it took until September 28th to find time to sit down and blog. September is always a busy month more than half of my family have their birthdays this month, school starts getting busy and I find that the sub jobs come in like crazy and just every day life fun stuff.  This will be a big blog post with lots and lots of pictures!.....

The month started off right with a Supinger Family Labor Day Party in Stockton.  Angie always hosts the best family parties.  The theme was Disney and all the families had to come up with a lip singing routine.  We did Love is an Open Door from Frozen.  We have a real cute video but I have know idea how to post that.  It came out really cute.  We had fun dressing up in our Disney gear and hanging with fam!
Girl Cousins!
Aubrey, Daphne, Alex and Kaylee

Angie's side of the family also came to the party her sisters Linda's kids stole the show with their Descendant's lip singing and dancing performance.  They did What's My Name? and we all still have it in our head!
Grandma and Grandpa are so cute! We treasure anytime we get to spend with them.

Angie and Brian's skit had to be the funniest.  Brian was Pocahontas.
After the skits we took the kids over to their neighborhood pool for some swimming.
It was a lot of fun.
Wednesday September 6th was Activity Days.  We did an end of the summer swim party.

Thursday September 7th was back to school night.
How cute is this picture Carter did....

Loving having Mrs. Haar again this year!
After back to school night we went to Five Guy's for dinner to celebrate.
I love the chance that I get to volunteer in Carter's class on Friday mornings! He looks so cute with his head phones when he is working on the computer.
Every Friday Aubrey's class does a STEM project.   This week they were learning about Earthquakes and did a project with Jello.
Saturday September 9th Nana and Titi came down for a fun girls day.  Nana recently had shoulder surgery again so this was a big outing for her and we were so excited to have them down.  I made a really fun salad lunch at home then we went and did some shopping and then to yogurt for a treat.
When we got home we all worked on crafts.  My mom had distressed these buckets and I did the vinyl we were so happy with how they turned out.  Nana and Aubrey also worked on making some Aub's bows (like the JoJo bows that are so popular right now)
Later that afternoon Papa and Gaga came down so we could celebrate Gaga's birthday.
and of corce Nana and Papa spoilled the kids with new Halloween shirts too!

Then we all went to Sizzler for dinner.

 and home for pie!
Sunday September 10th we made slim and cleaned the house.
Monday September 11th the kids dressed in red, white, and blue to honor all those who lost their lives 16 years ago.
I worked at the airport that day and we finally got new carpet!  Now hopefully my kids feet wont be black if they take their shoes off and play at work.
Tuesday September 12th I got to sub in Aubrey's class for the first time.  It was so much fun! I did an art project with them at the end of the day.  We used 3 different types of painting techniques.  First water color with a brush, then we blew black paint with a straw to make the trees and then finished with a Q-tip to make the leaves.

Also on Tuesday it was the first day back to Girl Scouts!
Wednesday September 13th we had play dates.  Carter has been really close to Bella this school year they play at recess and lunch and they sit together in class. They were in the same class last year too.  We ran into Bella and her dad at Raley's the week before and the dad had said that Bella told him Carter had invited her over so I said sure she can come over so we planned it.  I was a little surprised that Carter wanted a girl friend to come play but it was so much fun! They both really like Lego's and Mindcraft.
Aubrey invited Mia over and they had a blast!
We made stress balls and both the friends stayed for dinner that night.
Thursday the guy that did our BBQ fundraiser at the school texted me that he had Casper hot dogs to give me for FREE! Our family loves Casper's so I was excited to get those.
That night we had Stan over for dinner and made our very own Casper's!
Friday September 15th I volunteered in Carter's class in the morning and then subbed in Aubrey's class in the afternoon.  Nothing better than getting paid to be in my daughter's class.  We drew pumpkins that day.  The kids love all my art projects!

That afternoon Carter got invited to go play at Ander's house.  They had fun getting ice cream from the ice cream man!
Aubrey and I had a mother daughter date to Target!

We came home and worked on our sample craft for Activity days on 9/20
Saturday September 16th Dad had the fun idea to go up to Modesto for the day and play at FunWorks we had a blast! The weather was perfect! It's so much fun playing with these kiddos!

Carter was old enough to drive his own go cart I almost had a heart attack! But we all survived!
Our more cautious one always likes to be with a parent.
Dad is on the QK softball team so it was nice that he got to get some practice in at the batting cages.
Carter was the only one to do the bumper boats this time we got way to wet last time!
We played a fun round of golf all together.

 and then bumper cars!

What a day! We had Cool Hand Luke's for dinner and got home super late!
Sunday September 17th we had a couple errands to run.  Aubrey is so silly!

Carter is a book worm! He loves to read and is so good at it! He reads a whole chapter book in 1 day! We all thought he was probably just skimming through it but no he took an A/R test on it and got 90%!!! We are so proud of him.  We went out to dinner on Thursday September 21st and he couldn't set down his book!
Friday at recess time I went into the library to see what he was doing and this is what I found....
After school on the 22nd we packed our bags and headed up to the mountains to be with mom and dad on their birthday weekend.  I love this weekend in September! We always have so much fun! Friday September 22nd we had pizza and played games.
Saturday September 23rd (my dad's real birthday) Spencer and I woke up really early and went to the gym.  Then we came home and had french toast.  Then the girls all went to Walmart to get lunch stuff and other fun stuff.  Then we came home and had lunch and did some birthday gifts.

I was excited to get my dad a Jeep hat for him to wear when he drives his Jeep.
Aubrey was so cute to make a bracelet for Papa and a necklace for Nana with out me even knowing she did that!

After lunch we all got in the cars and headed up to Columbia for the day.  It was beautiful.  The weather was perfect again and we had a great time being a family hanging out.
 rock climbing...
 gold panning.....
 treats and relaxing.....

It was perfect! Then we dicided it would be fun to keep the fun coming and made our way up to the casino to go bowling!

We had a great time and I actually got way better at my bowling thanks to Spencer and dad!

After bowling went to one of my parents favorite steak houses for dinner Gus's.  It was so yummy and a great end to the party that day.

After we got home we had mom open her gifts.

Then Titi went home and we got the Kids and Nana in bed and Papa, Gaga, Spencer and I went to the theater to see It! I was a little scared at first but it really wasn't that scary of a movie.  We had fun all together.
Sunday we all slept in! It felt so nice after our party day on Saturday.  Titi wanted to take me to a new store in town that day so her, Spencer and I went while the kids stayed home and played with Papa.  They made some really fun stuff in the back yard.  Like a boat out of twigs....
and a Miwuk tepee how cool is that!!....

It was the best weekend ever!!!!!

When we got home dad did a science experiment with the kids while I unpacked and did laundry.
Monday September 25th I subbed for Ms Buttrey.  Even though I wasn't with my kids I made sure to visit them at their lunches.
That night our favorite pizza parlor had a one year anniversary celebration.  The kids had a blast getting face painting, Hanna tattoos, painting a rock, eating pizza and playing games.

I even got a little Hanna on my foot.
Tuesday September 26th we were feeling like getting into the Halloween spirit so the kids and I made some day of the dead masks.

 They came out really cool!
September 27th I picked Aubrey's new sunglasses and we decorated for Halloween.
Friday September 29th (Nana's real birthday) was mix match day at school.  The kids had fun picking out their outfits....
and mine too since I was working at the school that day.
