Dada's Work Party

On Friday it was Spencer's work party. They have a very nice lunch at the office for all the employees and families. Aubrey enjoyed checking out dada's work by crawling all over. It is always fun to go see dada at work and see all the cool stuff he does. He works so hard for us and he is so smart we are so pround of him.

After lunch we went to the mall to finish some Christmas shopping.

Work Christmas Party

On the 12th it was my company's annual Christmas party. Every year we have a huge party at the airport. We had a wonderful live band, yummy food, good company and we filled two huge boxes for toys for tots. It was very stressful putting it all together and I'm so happy it turned out good. My wonderful husband and family helped me so much that night. Thanks everyone!

Aubrey had a great time but was so tired at the end of the night.

Trip to see Santa

Today we took Aubrey to see Santa in the mall. She was happy in my arms but the minute I sat her on Santa's lap she started to scream. Thank goodness the photographer had a cool toy that made noise so we were able to get this shot. Santa then tried to give her a candy cane and she wanted nothing to do with him. After we were done and waiting for the picture she looked at him and pointed and smiled I guess she likes him from a distance.

Getting ready for Christmas

Our Family tradition is to decorate for Christmas Thanksgiving weekend so that is what we did all day Saturday. We put up the tree Saturday morning and Aubrey just looked at the tree like what the heck and then got back to playing.

Then when she woke up from her afternoon nap she came down the stairs to see the tree all lit up. She loved it! We caught her on tape giggling and clapping it was so cute!

We then started to hang ornaments with her. She pointed at the lights and was very happy the whole time we decorated.

This is the end result

Spencer and I have been painting a Christmas village for the last three years. My mom has a huge village that she has painted since before we where even born so she got us our very first house for our first married Christmas and we have been hooked ever since. We paint all year round. Here is a picture of us in front of it with the projects that we are working on now.

Today December 1st Aubrey was able to open her first Christmas window in her advent calendar. She even got to taste the chocolate and she loved it!
