Our Weekend in the Bay

We just had a wonderful weekend up in Hayward visiting family.  We try to get together for holidays and to celebrate the birthdays that are around those holidays.  We were a few weeks late for our Valentine party.  It was nice seeing family.
We got to celebrate Aubrey's and Isaac's birthday.

Our niece Charlotte is so much fun to play with and hold.
We love her so much!

Aubrey got spoiled with all her favorites, a barbie, craft sets and a few Lego sets.

 The cake was beautiful!
Since daddy was going to have a birthday the next Tuesday we sang to him too.

It was such a fun low key relaxing party.  It was really fun watching the kids play. The kids all went into the spa that night and we stayed the night at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  We had fun playing games and eating more yummy desserts.
The next day we took daddy out for an early birthday celebration.  Aubrey is always so quick to tell the waitress it's someones birthday.
After an awesome lunch at the Cheesecake Factory we did some shopping in our old stomping grounds, The Pleasanton Mall.  We love that mall! We had so many dates there when we were younger.  It's surreal walking around there now with our kids.  I love pottery barn kids.
Carter found the backpack he wants for next year......I just don't want to think about it!
The kids loved the Lego store.
Attempting a selfie in the sun.  I thought I could close my eyes and you wouldn't know since I had glasses on lol.
After our shopping trip we headed over to Manteca for our Nephew, Jacob's Eagle court of Honor.  It was pretty long since it was for 3 Eagles and I was a little mad that Spencer had to go sit up front in the Eagles "nest" for the whole ceremony.  I was left with 2 very tired/bored kids.
It was very nice though.  I'm super proud that Spencer is an Eagle Scout and that all his brothers are too.  Plus all the nephews are following in their foot steps so it's pretty cool! We need to find Spencer's shirt and badges!

Crazy to think in 14 years that will be Carter! I'm excited for our scout years ahead!
It was a great weekend!
