Daddy's 35th Birthday!

Tuesday March 3rd was daddy's birthday.  I think there should be a law that you don't have to work on your birthday!! But since there is not such a law yet, daddy had to go to work :( He actually also had an eveing meeting and had to get ready and pack for a 4 day buisness trip leaving the next day too, boo! We were still all very excited to celebrate first thing in the morning.
Daddy loved his box of all his favorite snacks for his trip.
Now that Aubrey is reading anything and everything she spent about 10 minutes in the card asile at the store to pick out the most perfect card for daddy.  It was really cute.  It wasn't even a birthday card she went with an I love you card it was the sweetest thing ever.  I loved what she added in the inside, "Daddy I'm so happy you are mine!"

Carter was very admit about getting daddy a new game for his DS.  I'm not much of a gamer (not at all actually) so going into Gamestop is very foreign to me.  Carter and I went in and I was so over whelmed but not him! He picked daddy out a new pac man game and was over the moon excited to see his daddy's face when he opened it.  It was really cute and neat that it was his very own gift he picked out.
Daddy also loves to get messages.  When we are talking about what to get daddy Aubrey's idea was a gift certificate for a message, how thoughtfull.  Daddy was very excited!!!
We let him open half his gifts in the morning and then made him wait until later to open the rest.  Daddy did get off early that day because not only work and packing he also had a meeting in Hilmar that night that he couldn't miss, life as an adult!!! So after he got home we all went to school and picked up Aubrey together.  It was really cute we all ran to class together and gave her a big family hug she was so happy.  Then we went to Sizzler for dinner.  I brought the table prizes to dinner with us.

We have been loving this Spot It game it is so much fun.

Then back home to open some more gifts and to play Spot It a dozen times :)

I made his favorite carriot cake.  I actually made it Monday and he had already ate like 1/2 of it so that is why this looks like a huge silce.  We did manage to fit 35 candles though.

Then it was time to kiss him good bye for his meeting and then the next morning for 4 days! It was a fun day and I hope he knows how much we love him and how important he is to us all.  We can't wait for him to come home so we can celebrate more!
Happy Birthday Cutie! We love you!
