Day 8 Magic Kingdom

Hard to believe our last full day on vacation, Saturday November 4th was here! We sure made the best out of it and had one more absolutely incredible fun day in Magic Kingdom!
We took our time getting ready in the morning since we knew we would stay at the park until closing that day.  I was great about staying up on my running while on vacation and ran pretty much every day.  I was excited to get to wear my new work out shirt that day.
Last bus trip to the park!
It's crazy being in shorts with a Christmas tree in the background!

When we first got to the park that day it was super crowded and everyone was waiting for a parade to start.  I looked at the schedule and the parade wasn't suppose to start until 2pm so we asked a worker what was going on and I guess the Astro baseball team just won the world series and the lady said, "it's true they really do come to Disney World right after the win!" We were not super into the World  Series so we didn't even know what was going on so we just walked through the crowds but of course snapped a couple pictures.
Once we made our way through we rode a few rides and then had our traditional morning snack!
After some more rides we claimed our spot for the parade.

I could not get over how big the castle is at DW!
How cute is my hubby....
He said he timed this selfie so that Cinderella was in the background because I'm his Cinderella! He melts my heart!  The parade was fabulous!

Then it was time for the rocket ride! It was super high and actually went pretty fast!

Then it was time for another oldie but goodie ride that is no longer at Disneyland, the people mover.  We loved it!

Then we went and met Tinkerbell.

I was trying to think of a fun souvenir and a gift for my parents and I had the idea to have the kids silhouette done.  My parents use to have ours done when we were kids in Disneyland so I thought this would be fun to carry on the tradition and I'm so glad we did! It came out really cute.  The lady who did it was super cute too! She made it such a fun experience.

We saw Nick Lachey doing an interview that day.
The Jungle Cruise is always so much fun! It was cool that DW decorates the ride for Christmas and they do Christmas jokes.

It was time for an early dinner we were all starving! We went to this fun burger place on Main Street that had unlimited milkshakes! How fun is that!

Then it was time for more ride!
 We are serious!
Our most favorite ride in Magic Kingdom was Snow white and the Seven Dwarfs.  It is a really fun mine roller coaster.  The wait time for it is ridiculous! It always over 2 hours! Getting a fast pass is impossible since people can book those 60 days in advance.  Well when we their for the Halloween party we noticed the wait time was down to 45 minutes since it was a private party.  The kids and I waited the line and road it.  Spencer's back was hurting so we waited for us.  Well we loved the ride so much and said that it would be worth waiting a long time again for daddy to get to experience it.  On My birthday it was super busy so we saved it for our last day.  When we were in line for the people mover I told the kids watch my magic... I started talking to a worker and I brought up the Snow White ride and asked him is there any way we could get a fast pass.  Before we knew it he was writing us up a slip for our family to go on it! We were so excited!! Here is us with our fast past!
After we road it we loved it even more!

All night we finished up going on every ride that we had not gone on yet.

Spencer went to get us a Dole whip before we went into the Tekki Room and since he had my bday pin they gave him a free dole whip!

When the firework show started we noticed that my phone said the wait was only 30 minutes for our favorite the Snow White roller coaster so we ran over.  When we looked at the line we knew that it was shorter than 30 and we ended up only waiting 10! Then on our way off the ride running through the exit we notice that Carter left his hat on the ride! Aubrey and dad waited at the exit while Carter and I ran back to the ride.  The workers were so sweet and checked every train.  There was no sign of his hat! Carter was devastated and started crying one of the workers said, "You can't cry at Disney World there is Disney magic we will find your hat!" and before we knew it another lady held up his hat! We were both so happy! Then the lady said "do you want to go on the ride again?" of course we did so we ran and got Aubrey and dad and came back up the exit for another ride without a wait! So a ride we didn't think we would get to go on again we got to go on 3 times! I love Disney magic!!

When we got off the ride it was getting close to closing time so we fit in one more meet and greet with Ariel.
and our last ride was the Little Mermaid!

We did some last minute shopping on Main Street and then said good bye to Disney World.  We can't wait to go back!!
Aubrey loves these little babies.  The kids had so much fun and man were they spoiled! Pretty much every thing they wanted they got.  We were so blessed to be able to do this vacation!
Sunday November 5th was flying home day.  Our flight wasn't until 5pm so we had a nice long morning at the hotel.  We worked out, swam, played in the kid place and had an awesome brunch.
Then it was off to the airport.  Our flight home was okay! The plane was full and some how we got kicked out of our aisle seats and had 2 windows and 2 center seats.  We both had very large men on the aisles and they were so rude! They never wanted to get up for us which is near impossible with kids for a six hour flight! Thank goodness for movies and the Chipotle burrito we brought on to the plane.  Also everyone stayed healthy and no ears popped so that was good.
Our flight arrived in San Fransisco at 10pm and from there we needed to go to the hotel to get our car and then drive home.  We didn't get to our house until 2am which felt like 6am because of the time change and day light savings! We were so tired.  Monday we took of work and school to unpack and do laundry and try to get back to normal.
I just love my souvenir!!

What a wonderful vacation!! Another part I love is getting to blog about it and relive all those fun memories! We feel so blessed to be able to do these kind of vacations with our family of four! These are some of the best experiences ever and I know will leave treasured memories for a life time.
