Day 1 of vacation!

Saturday October 28th we were up before the roasters at 3:30am to get to SFO by 4am for our 6am departure to Orlando, Florida! To say we were excited was a an under statement.  Surprisingly we all jumped out of bed at 3:30am not tired one bit.  I'm glad we had this early flight because it made adjusting to east coast time really easy.
On the shuttle to the airport....
We flew on Virgin America and had an outstanding flight.  The plane was not full at all and we ended up with 4 rows all to ourselves.  We had unlimited movies and TV shows so the flight just flew by! I was happy I packed lots of snacks and we picked up some sandwiches at the airport before we took off because they didn't serve any food on the flight.
Aubrey had a little fever that morning and her ears popped on the plan so she was in a little pain when we were landing but other than that it was smooth sailing!
Once we got to the airport we got all our luggage and got an Uber to our hotel.  We stayed at the B Resort and Spa.  It is on the Disney property walking distance to downtown Disney.  It was a way nice resort.  It was very modern and had lots of nice amenities.

After we got settled into the hotel we got ready for our dinner reservation at the Cinderella dinner at the Grand Floridian.  This was really neat for us to go back to were we stayed for our honeymoon.  I was one spoiled bride! I still can't believe Spencer surprised me with this amazing vacation right after we got married.  We tried to take pictures of were we had honeymoon pictures taken....
2017                                                            2005
We took an Uber to the hotel and Carter fell a sleep in the car.

The car still looks the same but we look pretty different! I think we look younger and more in shape now.

After walking down memory lane it was time for our dinner.  We loved this dinner 12 years ago and it hasn't changed it is still the BEST character buffet around.  I love getting to do something Disney related on a day that we didn't get to go into Disney.

Prince charming and Cinderella changed a bit!

The kids were super shy with all the characters. But they still loved it!

This step sister wanted to marry Carter and he was super worried.  I love his face in this picture...

This was just the start to all my birthday celebrations! They gave me a cupcake and the restaurant sang to all the birthdays.
After dinner we got to see the glass slipper

Then we walked around the resort remembering 12 years ago and how excited we were to finally be married.  It was so surreal seeing our kids running around in front of us now! We love our life so much!

There was a little mist in the air but other than that the weather was perfect! After our walk we took the monorail around the area and then headed back to our hotel for an early night.  Tomorrow day 1 in the parks, Animal Kingdom here we come!!
