Opening Day of baseball

Saturday April 29th was Baseball opening day!  We had the parade and the first game that day. We are in full swing baseball season over here.  Spencer is the coach of 11 cute little Yankee's.  It's coach pitch this year and we are having so much fun! Baseball is my favorite sport and is the sport Spencer played when he was younger.
Our team is great! We didn't ask to have any friends on the team so we have meet a group of all new families and it warms my heart to think about how supportive all these families are.  By random luck we did get Carter's friend, Xavian from school on our team but he was the only friend we knew.  Friday 4/28 we all got together at a players house to work on the float.
I made this banner for the parade.
Saturday morning we had to get up pretty early to be downtown by 8am for the parade.

All the players and parents made it and we did the finishing touches on our float.  We were the only team to do a balloon arch and it was a big hit! It looked really cool and I was so proud of our team.

I love this picture!! My guys are the cutest!

After the parade we headed over to the field for their first game.
They did great! It got pretty hot that day and they were all tired from the early morning but besides all that they did great!
 The pitcher is the cutest!!!!!!
and here is my favorite player number 6!

Carter's good friend Maddox made sure to come and cheer him on for his first game, how cute is that?  He is such a good friend and has asked me a couple times when is his next games so he can make it there to watch.

Of course when we have one thing planned for a Saturday there has to be like 5 other things that day! It was the Stakes Activity day activity.  I was able to run Aubrey over to that in between the parade and the game.  I stayed for a little bit.  They did a great job and made the girls feel really special.

That afternoon we had Violette over and all went swimming at the gym.  That night Carter went to Ander's for dinner and a late night play date while we had McDonald's and watched a movie with the girls.
 What a Saturday!
