Dad's 38th Birthday

Yes it's true we are in our late 30's now! Crazy! We had so much fun celebrating Dad on his birthday March 3rd! We were so lucky to have it on a Saturday this year! All birthday's should be on Saturdays! The kids and I had a blast getting him all his favorite things.

I let the kids pick out there own gift this year.  Carter was thrilled when he saw this idea for his dad...

It's not only Star Wars it's also for his car.  Daddy loved it!
I put a cute super hero picture in a frame for dad

and some new work out pants...
Every time we are at Costco Spencer says how cool it would be to have a whole Snicker's box all to his self...
 Well his dream came true..

A couple months ago we were watching a weight lifting show on NetFlix and Spencer saw a guy wearing this shirt and said how much he would like to have that shirt.  Well I remembered just in time to get it for him for his birthday.
 He was very excited!
Aubrey drew him the cutest card.

and got him a Mrs. Pacman game (one of his favs!)

Then I gave the kids their table prizes.

Then dad went to the gym, I did my run and then we all got ready for basketball.  What a great dad to coach even on his birthday! After the games we told him to pick where ever he wanted for lunch.  It was pretty random that he picked KFC! But hay it was good and a fun treat since we never eat there! Weird thing was that another couple took our food at the counter when they called our name! They played the don't speak English card and ended up getting all our food for free.  We had to wait for them to make our food again for us.  It was pretty annoying but maybe those other people really needed the food.  We enjoyed our very fried lunch!
Then it was off to the movies to see Black Panther (dad's pick).  We all really enjoyed it!

After the movie we came home and hung out.  Then dad blew out his candles and we enjoyed his favorite carrot cake that I make him every year.

After cake we hung out and watched another movie and then were hungry again so we ordered a feast from Pizza Factory, LOL.
It was a day full of eating and having fun.  We sure love you dad! Thanks for being the best dad/hubby ever.  You still look 17 in my eyes.  I love getting old with you and I love getting to celebrate all our birthdays together as a family! Love you cutie!
