A few friends and I started a play date group a couple of months ago. We all have kids the same age and decided that they needed more play time together and we needed more free time away from kids. I have all the kids over on the 2nd Wednesday of the month and in return I get three other Wednesdays free to myself. There are 7 kids all together ranging in age from 1-3. It is definitely crazy and when 11:30 hits I'm done but it's a lot of fun and the kids get along great. My October Wednesday went great I was dog sitting my parents dog too so I had 3 three year olds, 1 two year old, 3 one year olds, and 2 dogs!
