Our Week in Sonora

The kids, Deuce and I spent all of last week in Sonora. It was such a fun relaxing week. I have really wanted to go up and spend a whole week at my parent's new house for some time now. This was the perfect week since it was my parent's birthdays and this allowed us to be with my mom on her real day. Monday we relaxed and went out to dinner and to the store. Their Safeway is so clean and nice. Aubrey and Carter loved "driving" around the store.

Tuesday we went to the public library for story time. It was lots of fun seeing how another story time is run. They had comfy couches to sit on. The teacher read lots of books and did music time. The kids all did a craft after, it was fun. Then we went and played at the park. I also went and got my hair cut that day and got bangs!

Wednesday we went down to Modesto for shopping. Aubrey was excited to take Lilly to the Build a Bear shop to give her a bath and get a new outfit. Nana had a great idea to get Carter his own teddy bear. Nana had bought Lilly for Aubrey when she was about a year and a half too. Carter picked out a very cute brown teddy bear which we named Lightning after Lightning McQueen from Cars.

Carter was scared during the stuffing part, it was a little loud.

After Lightning was all ready to go it was love at first sight.
Thanks Nana!

Thursday was Mom/Nana's birthday. Papa had the day off work that day. We took it easy in the morning then went to Twain Heart for lunch and the park. Papa watched the kids so mom and I could go shopping in the afternoon. Then Aubrey, Papa and I went kayaking. We then had a nice dinner and cake.

Deuce enjoyed his week vacation too.

This was at lunch.

Papa had a work call and Carter pretended to be on the phone too. It was very cute.

Friday we came home. It was a wonderful week and we had a great time. Thanks Nana and Papa!! It was nice to come home to Spencer and see all the projects that he had completed while we were gone.
