Disneyland Vacation Day 1

I'm so excited to finally get my pictures all together and start posting about our amazing Disneyland Vacation.  We had a great month leading up counting down the days.  We decided to do a trip in October this time and take the kids out of school in hopes of it being less crowded we also love all the Fall/Halloween decorations this time of year.  We were beyond excited to be going to Disneyland with Nana, Papa and Titi this time around.  Nana hasn't been in 9 years and Papa was going on like 15 years.  They were both born in 1955 (the same year as Disneyland opened) so this was a perfect time to go all together.
I had fun getting the kids their Disney car busy boxes all ready.
I also had fun making us all matching water bottles.
Wednesday October 14th finally came and we were all so excited!!

We packed up the car and were off.

Nana had the best "magic purse" with her!! She had fun Halloween books that she read to us.  She had two really awesome games.  We played Spot It the car version which was so much fun and Family Feud which was also really fun.
We stooped in Bakersfield for lunch.  The kids loved that they got their own table.
We then did the rest of our drive to Disneyland.  It went so fast thanks to Nana's magic purse and watching Cinderella in the car.  We got to our hotel and unpacked. We got a great suite that we all fit in pretty good.  Next time we need 2 bathrooms we decided.  Then Aubrey did a Disney make over and we headed for Down town Disney for dinner.

Nana rented a scooter for the week and it was perfect.  She got around great and the kids loved going for rides.
Our new Disney tradition is to go to Goofy's kitchen for dinner the night before.  It's a fun Disneyland activity that doesn't involve having to have tickets into the park.  The kids love the characters and we all love the food and seeing the kids so excited!

We thought Carter would have grown out of his scared of characters age but I guess not!
He was okay if there was some distance between them.

This was the cutest part of the night:
When the song came on that Goofy was coming out everyone in the restaurant would spin their napkin around over their heads.  Carter LOVED this.  He is still talking about it.  It was really fun and I got a very cute video of the whole family.

 The desserts were amazing!!!
So I guess the only character Carter likes is Pluto?!?!? This shocked us all lol!

When you sign in they ask if you are celebrating anything so I told them my parents birthdays so they came over and sang it was fun.  Probably more for the kids then my parents.

Dinner was fabulous! We then walked around Down Town Disney.
The Lego Store is Carter's very favorite.

It was a great day!! We went back to the room and got ready for our day in the park tomorrow.
