My kids were very excited for the Minion Movie to come out. We have had such fun movies come out this summer!! They are in the process of collecting all the Inside Out toys from that favorite movie of theirs and now with the minion movie they want to do everything Minion! One of the Minion's names is Kevin and our neighbor down the street (named Kevin) just had half of his house burned down thanks to the kids next door not doing fireworks right :( so sad!! Aubrey made him this drawing to make him feel better:
We spent a day last week at home and called it minion day, Wednesday 7/8.
We made minions with perler beads.
Then we made yellow slim to put in a minion jars we made.
Friday we went to McDonald's for lunch to get a minion happy meal.
and Saturday 7/11 we finally got to go to the movie.
The kids were very excited and loved it! I would have to say I have lots of other kids movies that I would pick as my first favorites (It really wasn't that great!) but looking over at the kids with their eyes glued and so happy made it worth it.
After the movie went to the kids pick for dinner, Ihop. We had know idea that Ihop was the best for dinner! We were the only ones in the restaurant and got the BEST service and kids eat free.
