4th of July Weekend

We celebrated the 4th of July last weekend.  I was thrilled that I wasn't hosting the Supinger party this year.  I like hosting it but when the forecast calls for 105 I couldn't be more happy to pack the car and drive to the coast!
We decided to make a weekend trip out of it so we headed for Hayward on Friday 7/3.  The Supinger's original plans were to all go to Great America but as it closer every one's lives got crazy and all the plans changed.  Our kids still really wanted to go to Great America and since we had passes we still went after we dropped our bags and Deuce off at Grandma and grandpa's.
Aubrey talked me into sitting the front of the kid coaster.

It was a fun day kind of hot and more crowded then the last time we went but still fun.  The kids were pretty upset that the cousins didn't come since we had thought they were all going to come so Spencer called his sister and we arranged to pick up Alex, Grayson and Daphne to come back with us for a sleep over and pizza party and Grandma and Grandpa's.
I had brought a fun friendship braclet kit with us so we all did that after dinner and then watched a movie.
July 4th we woke up to Krispy Kreme donuts!
Then we took some family pictures in our red, white and blue.  Yes Aubrey has a little make up on.  Her cousin Alex really wanted to do just a little on her.

After all that we headed across the bay to Mountain view for the party.  We had a yummy BBQ, played in the kiddie pool, celebrated Ben and Charlotte's birthdays, and played some minute to win it games.

The kids loves the minute to win it games.

The donut game is always the favorite!

Then we all get ready to go over to Great America for the fire work show.  The mustaches were suppose to glow in the dark but they didn't work that well.  The kids and I made these light up favors for all the kids.
We all caravanned over to the park and thought we could park in the parking lot but they had it all closed off.  We found parking at another business and walked up unto an over pass to watch the show.  Not the safest area but fun.  We ended up having to go down further since the Levi's stadium was in the way.  We found a good spot and watched the sky be lightened up by fireworks.
We got home to grandma and grandpa's real late that night! both kids crashed in the car.  We woke up on Sunday and then headed back home.  It was a fun weekend.
