The rest of Christmas Break

We had an amazing, relaxing, fun Christmas break this year.  We had December 20th-January 8th off school.  It felt awesome getting that week after new years off.  I felt like it was a perfect amount of time to really just enjoy being us and at home.
On the day after Christmas 12/26 the kids and I met up with Auntie and Aunt Shelly for brunch.
Poor Spencer woke up with a nasty cold so he stayed home and rested.  It was nice that it was after Christmas he got sick but he was a little bummed to be in bed on his days off. Since the kids had all their new toys and games we just stayed home and enjoyed all out new gadgets.
and all the left overs!! Titi's french silk is my fav!
Wednesday December 27th we took the kids to the new Pitch Perfect movie.  We love those singing movies! W had a lot of fun!
Nana and Papa gave us the most fun new Disney game we are obsessed and play it to all hours of the night!
We also built Legos for hours and had a blast!
We did get out to enjoy a bike ride and use Carter's new helmet.
 This kid cracks me up!

Friday December 29th we went up to Riverbank to the cool comfy theater to see Jumanji which was one of our favorite new movies.
We hit up Mimi's Cafe for dinner that night.  We were laughing at Carter's meal choice that night.
We also decided that night since Carter was blessed with so many new Lego sets we needed to redo his room to accommodate it all.  Spencer drew up some amazing plans for a Lego table that would fit under his bunk bed.
Saturday December 30th the boys went to Lowe's to buy all the wood and Aubrey and I worked on putting together a new dresser and organizer.  The boys got home and went straight to work! The project turned out to take much longer than we thought but came out so so so cool!

Spencer also built some cool shelves for his mini figures
News Eve we went out to a nice dinner

and then came home for the festivities.  We watched a fun movie and had yummy desserts.

We laughed that the kids could stay up until midnight but not daddy!
New Years day we always have so much fun celebrating with Titi since it's her bday!!
She loves grilled cheese sandwich so we thought this was the most perfect gift!

 We love being all together!
What was so fun this year is we got to bring Titi home with us!! Yay!
We should her the Disney game
 and the funny mouth game!
We watched movies, ate good food, shopped at Target and even made slime it was a fun couple days with our Titi!
Carter is a spender.  He spent his Christmas money pretty fast Aubrey on the other hand saved all hers.

 No Titi you can't go!!!
 Deucie wanted her to stay!
Wednesday night the kids made blankets with the fabric they picked out at Hobby Lobby.
 and built more legos.
Thursday January 4th the kids had play dates.  It's crazy because you think you have so much time for play dates but all the days get away from you.
Carter had Ander over...
 and Aubrey had Presley..

Friday January 5th we did some science experiments in the morning

and then I took them to Rockin Jump for our last official week day off.  We had a blast!

We needed a cold drink after all that.
We went over to Barnes and Nobbles after our drink and looked around at all the books and got a fun puzzle to do as a family.
That evening we got a baby sitter and Daddy and I got to go out on a nice date night to dinner and Costco then later that night Presley came over for a slumber party.
Saturday we went to the Greatest Showman and feel in love! That movie was incredible oh and the music so amazing! We have been lucky to have so many fun movies to go to this holiday season!!!
Sunday January 7th we went to church and Aubrey made this cute list for us to do for our last day of break.  We got everything done on her list and we had a great time doing it!

 and we finished our puzzle!
What a great break!
