Other fun November 2016 memories

As you can see your November was packed full of fun memories but we can't forget all the other stuff we did in November.
I took the kids with me on November 8th to vote.
Also that day was their last day of water polo.  It was a lot of fun but I wish it had ended in October it was getting way to cold in November to still have to jump in the pool,  They were so much fun to watch this season so we might do it again next year.
On the last day they let kids jump of the diving boards.  Aubrey was very excited! Carter had decided he didn't want to do water polo that day and was devastated that he missed the diving boards but I stuck to my guns and made him sit on the side lines and watch since he didn't play the game.  It was a hard parenting moment but it was necessary for him to learn you need to work for the reward.
Carter has become really close to this cutie Madoxx in his class.  They love that they have matching shoes!
I found a fun fraction turkey craft for the kids to do.  I taught them fractions and they loved it!
We are still having a blast playing with our little hamsters.
I even got Aubrey's to fall a sleep on me once.
Our last day of pottery was 11/16.  The kids had so much fun in this class.  We will probably do it again in the spring.
November 19th was our niece Daphne's baptism.  It was also the Supinger family Thanksgiving celebration.  Daphne asked me to do the talk on the Holy Ghost at her baptism.  It went really good and I was pretty proud of myself.
 Daphne in the family dress.
These girls are the cutest together!
and I can't get enough of my tie matching boys!

Monday 11/21 was the first day of Thanksgiving break and I worked a half day so Nana came down to be with the kids.  They made these adorable turkey cupcakes.
That evening I took the kids on a hike.
Wednesday we did some bike riding.
and then meet daddy at the movies to see Moana.  It was adorable and I love how my kids love dressing the part in their Hawaiian wear.
This was the sign I made for my ant and her wife.
I officially started subbing on 11/16.  I'm loving it! on 11/29 I got to sub in Aubrey's class it was a blast!!! I read them a fun substitute book and had them do this fun writing assignment with it.
I also found this idea of quiet critters on Pinterest which they all loved!
On top of my fun stuff I added in I also do all the work the teacher has prepared.  It's been so much fun and I love it! I have got to do Aubrey's class 2 times now and Carter's 1.  I've also done a 2nd grade and a 5th grade class.  I'm excited to do more in the coming year.
Getting ready for Christmas on 11/30 doing a fun project at home.
Technically this was the 12/2 when I subbed but I added it to this post.  We made ornaments that I brought to class this day after we got all our other work done.
Wow November you didn't disappoint we had a blast!

Thanksgiving 2016

We are so blessed to all be together for Thanksgiving this year.
Top row: Aunt Pat, Aunt Shelly, Scott, Uncle Steve, Diana, Spencer
bottom row: Aubrey, Laura, mom, dad, Carter and me
We haven't had a had a holiday with the extended family in a long time due to some family stuff so it felt good to be all together and share in such a special day of being grateful.
Our Thanksgiving started off in Merced with cinnamon rolls and The Macy's Thanksgiving day parade.  Then we packed the car and headed to the mountains.
When we got there we had a beautiful memorial ceremony for my grandpa.  We planted a tree and Spencer conducted a wonderful service.  We then got to share memories.  It was very special and intimate.  It was a sweet closer.  I love looking at the tree we planted and think of my grandpa Merv.

After our service we took some family pictures all together.

The lake my parents live on is beautiful!

After all the pictures we all just visited and ate lots of yummy hors d'oeuvres.  Diana had brought the kids a really cool little piano that they have been having a blast with.
The kids had fun at their kid table drawing turkeys.
Dad made the best turkey like always!
and mom decorated so beautifully!

Laura made some killer pies! My dessert plate was ridiculous.
After the best meal ever we went a did little a black Friday shopping.  Titi bought a new TV and we helped her set it up that night.
Friday morning we went to the most adorable Christmas craft fair in Sonora.  This has become our annual tradition and I just love it! It was fun to do it with the whole family this year.
The kids first Santa visit of the season

They have so many interesting crafts for sale.  The kids and Papa really loved these metal statues.

 How cute is this...
Then it was time for the annual magic show.  We see this couple every year and every year they have a new act.  They are great and keep us laughing the entire time.  We were Lucky to not only have Aubrey and Carter asked to volunteer but also dad, Papa and Nana.  It was fun being so part of the show.  Carter even made $5 being part of it!

After the fair we went to a really yummy late lunch and then over to Laura's for some cookies and hot chocolate before we headed down the street for the Christmas parade.

Sonora's Christmas parade is so awesome! It's almost like a Disneyland parade but in a small town.  It was great and got us so in the spirit of Christmas

After the parade we went back to Nana and Papa's for some Thanksgiving part 2 and then played games.  It was a great Thanksgiving 2016 we feel so blessed!

Carter's Thanksgiving Program

I loved being able to see Carter do the most adorable Thanksgiving day program.  He was adorable and loved hearing him practice all the songs like "Fat Turkey, Fat Turkey" for weeks leading up to the program.  He makes one handsome Pilgrim!
He had his eyes glued to dad and I the whole program.  He melts my heart!

We were so proud of our little guy!

After the performance the kids and grown ups have a feast.  I was actually in charge of setting up the feast and it went really great!

Carter will kill me for posting this picture but I just had too!
He is our naked man at home.  When school is over the clothes are gone! Before a party we just had a couple days ago he told me "mom it's okay if I don't wear a shirt it's just like I'm swimming." I love his logic! I told daddy and his response is "it's a winter gingerbread house party not a pool party in the summer." Carter you are so much fun!
