Vegas!!!!!

Our big Christmas gift to the kids this year was Maroon 5 concert tickets and a trip to Vegas.  To say we were excited for this is an understatement!!!
Saturday December 28th we headed down to Fresno to catch our flight to Vegas.....

We had one more big surprise for our kiddos.....
That's right a limo ride to our hotel!
Aubrey had mentioned seeing a movie where someone was getting off their flight, seeing their name on a board and getting to ride a limo.  She said how cool that would be if that ever happened in real life.  So we made that happen.  When we got off the escalator the kids saw Dominic, our chauffeur standing there with their names on a sign.... they were SO SO excited (as were we)!

To our surprise it was an SUV limo and it was beyond cool!
Dominic even had apple cider for us!

The kids LOVED the experience! It was cool flying into Vegas at night and seeing all the pretty lights.  We stayed at New Your New York right on the strip.
Our room was amazing this was our view....
After we got settled into our room we went out to explore.

That night we had dinner at California Pizza Kitchen and then went to our room and a good night sleep.
Sunday December 29th we all woke up refreshed for a fun day in Vegas! Dad and I had a nice work out and then got everyone ready and headed out for the day.  The sun was out but it was pretty cold.  New York New York looks so cool in the daytime and nighttime.

We made our way through a couple hotels checking out the sights.  We wanted to see were our concert was going to be so we went and checked that out.  When we saw the sign for Maroon 5 we were all so excited!
It was neat getting to see all the Christmas decorations...
We had heard amazing reviews from lots of friends and family about the Titanic exhibit in Luxor.  Oh my goodness it was one of the BEST museums I have ever been too.  We all loved every minute.  They don't let you take pictures in the museum so I only have the couple we took outside.  You are given a boarding pass when you enter and then you find out at the end if you survived or died on the Titanic.  Both the kids survived but Spencer and I died.  It was a really neat experience.

After that we took an Uber over to Circus Circus.  We had a blast playing all the carnival games.  Both kids are so good at games and won some big stuffed animals!
Aubrey really surprised us with her skills and won this huge Sloth!

Circus Circus is pretty far away from our hotel pretty much on the entire other end of the strip but since it was so beautiful out we decided to walk back.  It was a very long walk and the kids were pretty tired walking the whole way but I loved it. On our walk back we found the Vegas mall.  Man was I in heaven.  Talk about any store you could imagine! For lunch we went to a huge food court were we all got to pick what we wanted.  I was excited to get my favorite, a gyro!
While at the mall we got to watch a New Year's Eve fashion show which was pretty cool.

Dad had the idea for us all to get a fun prize! Carter picked a game he really wanted.  Aubrey got new Nike Jordan's for basketball and I got dad a new wedding band.  I'm actually still in the market for my prize, haha I can't shop under pressure.
Vegas has so much to see! It's really amazing all the stuff they have.
This carousel was made entirely out of flowers!
We made our way to the Venetian which was beautiful!

The water fountains at the Bellagio are stunning!
All that walking got us so hungry so we went to a fun burger joint for dinner.

and ended our fabulous day with a Little Kitty cupcake!
Monday December 30th Concert Day!!! Another museum at the Luxor that we had heard about and wanted to check out was the Bodies exhibition.  It was so nice having a shuttle that went between our hotel, Luxor and Mandalay Bay (where the concert was at).
We were also not allowed to take pictures at this museum too.  Bodies was very interesting they were all real cadavers.  We got to see what our insides looked like.  It was cool but also a little disgusting.  The kids and I preferred Titanic but dad liked Bodies more.
After that museum we explored the other side of the strip.

I have wanted to try this cookie dough place forever and it did not disappoint! so yummy!
After our shopping we went back to the hotel for a power nap and then got ready for the concert!
The kids looked so cool!
We had a yummy dinner at the House of Blues before the concert.
Then we made it to the concert our seats were awesome!

The pre show was not great and we actually went and walked around while they were performing.
Once Maroon 5 came out it was AMAZING! We loved every song! We danced the night away.  Aubrey loved filming the songs and Carter was on his seat dancing the entire night.  It was so cool!!!

Our favorite song was probably their newest one, Memories.  It was a very cool concert!!!
After the concert Aubrey wanted to get a picture with Michael Jackson.
The kids looked very cute in their band shirts we got them...
Tuesday December 31st we slept in and took our time getting ready to go home.  We had some time to check out our arcade in our hotel that day.

It was sad that our Vegas vacation was coming to an end but we were excited to come home and see our puppies.  It was also getting very crowded in Vegas since it was NYE so we were kind of happy to miss the craziness.  We surprised the kids with another ride in the limo back to the airport...

Carter was amazed to see a LEGO vending machine at the airport.

Our flight home was nice and then we made it home just in time for our family New Years Eve celebration!

What an amazing end to 2019!! We made so many wonderful memories all year long and this final trip of the year was a really neat experience.  2019 was a year to remember.  We had many highs and some very lows (we will miss our Deucie guy forever).  We look back on 2019 and feel so blessed.  We have so many things to be grateful for.  We are all healthy, have wonderful jobs, a great home, amazing family, great friends and so much love for one another.  We are excited to see what 2020 has in store for us!
