First week of October....

Monday October 1st was pink day at school for breast cancer awareness...
That afternoon we painted some pumpkins...

Tuesday October 2nd the kids decided on their Halloween costumes.  Since we have done a family theme the last couple years I let them be what ever they wanted this year.  Here's a sneak peak..
Carter aka Kylo Ren....
 Aubrey aka Miss Vampire....
That afternoon the kids worked on a service project for the InShape gym.  They colored pictures on cards to be taken to St. Jude Hospital to brighten up kids with cancer.
Wednesday October 3rd was officially the first day of Cub Scouts for Carter he was so excited! I think he is probably the first kid that went to his first meeting already completing his bobcat badge and had all the Boy Scout pledge and law memorized.  He was so ready for this day! His goal is to be the youngest Eagle Scout.
Thursday October 4th I got to go on the Farm to U field trip with Carter.  It was at the fairgrounds and we got to learn all about farming.
Carter and Noah G. Ander and Wesley are behind him.

We were taught so many neat things that day!! We also got to see day old calf.  So cute!
Trying to do a selfie with my boy!...
 Finally got one...
That afternoon we had crazy weather!! It was stormy and super rainy! We loved every minute of it!

Aubrey and I have been dying to try a melted Crayola art project.  Aubrey was so patient unwrapping all the crayons...
It came out amazing!!!!
While Aubrey was working on her art project Carter helped me make these cute candy corn cookies.
Aubrey helped with the eyes after they were cooked.
 They came out super cute!
We wrapped them up and gave them to the teachers the next day.
Friday October 5th I went up to Sonora for the day to help my sister.  Titi bought her first house!!!!  We are so excited for her and I was so happy to be able to go up for the day and have painting party with her.  We worked very hard and got a lot done! It was fun having sister time!!

Saturday October 6th was a huge Body Pump fundraiser at our gym.  They had a master trainer fly in and over 85 people were there to do the class.  All the proceeds went to cancer research.  I had a great time being part of a big thing like that.  Body pump has really become a special thing to me and cancer research is also very important to me so it was a win win morning!

This weekend was also conference weekend so the kids were super excited for the store to come back.  We all enjoyed relaxing and watching conference together.
After the sessions on Saturday we went on a nice family bike ride.
Sunday October 7th the kids got to have TV breakfast and were so excited!
That afternoon we got to go to the pumpkin patch with our family.  Stay tuned for the next post, Pumpkin Patch 2018.
