Vacation Day 8 6/28 Disneyland

It was hard to believe our vacation was coming to end.  We were sad to have it end but we were so happy that we got to have this long of a vacation and we were ready to come home and see Deucie! We spent our last full day at Disneyland going on all our favorite rides one more time.  It was our Magic Morning so we were their bright and early and got to ride lots of rides before the gates even opened.
The kids love space mountain!

We did a couple rides this day that we never really do! We went on the boat that goes around Treasure Island in hopes of seeing some of the new Star Wars land which we did get to see a little of.  We also went to Treasure Island to explore which was really fun! Carter was in his element climbing and running! I was a little freaked out that I was going to lose him since we have family stories of my dad getting lost there.
Since we had our Star Wars shirts on it seemed fitting to go meet Ray

Since we had been in the park since 7am we decided we needed a little break so we took the Monorail into Downtown Disney for lunch and some shopping.

Carter had been eyeing this bubble light up Buzz the entire time in Disney! He was very excited to get it!
After some shopping we headed back to the hotel for a nap.  Our maid always did cute stuff with the kids stuffed animals.  Also isn't this tiny pull out bed the cutest! It was perfect for Carter!
The boys were still napping so Aubrey and I decided it would be fun to go into the park just the two of us.
We had lots of fun riding rides together.
 and buying another adorable Eeyore.
Our hair was crazy after the Railroad roller coaster..
Once the boys got up and ready they came into the park and had some father son time hanging out.
These boys are just too cute for words!

The kids last Mickey pretzel treat for this trip!
and you always have to end the night with more shopping.  Carter loves his new hat!
And then back to the hotel! These kids are so spoiled! Even Nana and Papa sent them money to use on prices!

We love you Disney!! We had a great time and I loved every minute with my family there but I did come to a realization on this Disneyland vacation.  I'm so sad to say that Disney might be losing it's magic!  It is so over crowded and most of the people there are locals with season passes.  It didn't use to be that way and I feel like it's making Disneyland feel more like just an Amusement park and not a magical destination.  Everyone is in a rush and will push anyone out of the way if they have too.  The workers at Disneyland use to be so happy and we witnessed more that five different occasions where a team member lost his/her cool.  Visiting characters has really changed.  When Aubrey was smaller we would just run into them and have such a neat time chatting and playing.  We even have a video of her walking with Alice and Wonderland hand in hand down Main Street.  Now you have to wait over 30 minutes for a quick hi and bye.  I'm hoping that it will get better and maybe it just felt this way since we went in the later part of June.  I won't give up on Disneyland yet I love it too much but maybe we need a little break to hope for the magic to come back.
