Lake Tahoe for our 6 year anniversary

Spencer and I celebrated 6 fabulous years of marriage on Saturday July 30th. We decided that we needed a weekend together without kids so we packed our bags and went up to Lake Tahoe for three days. The kids had a wonderful weekend of being spoiled at Nana and Papa's house. We lived up our three days like no other. We stayed at MonteBleu it was great. Our room was very nice and we even had a jacuzzi tub. Friday night Spencer got us amazing tickets to the Lady Antebellum concert. We sat in the 9th row I can't tell you how amazing our seats were it was like we were almost on stage. The concert was great!!!

Troy Olsen opened the show that night.

The show was completely sold out. We loved every minute of it. It was so nice dancing with my husband and enjoying a great band.

We got to sleep in Saturday! Well, we tried but I guess getting up at 7am for the last 3 years sticks with you even when you're on vacation. We did lots of sight seeing, jet skiing, shopping, a couples massage, swimming, eating and even had time to catch a new movie.

For our anniversary dinner Saturday night we ate at the Ciera Steakhouse. The word amazing doesn't even describe the food there. It was such a treat for us.

It was sad to say goodbye to Tahoe but we were excited to get home to our little ones. The drive between Lake Tahoe and Sonora had some breath taking views.

It was a perfect trip. I'm so lucky to be married to my best friend and that we get to share our lives with one another. We have the best time together and I can't wait to celebrate a million more anniversaries.

I love you Hubby!

Summer activities at home

We are keeping busy with fun activities every day. We did shaving cream art the other day. It was quite interesting with little Carter man this time.

water table fun:

Aubrey drew this picture today:

Isn't it so so so cute! Her details are amazing. It's hard to believe a 3 year old did it. She is doing great with her art work she impresses us everyday with her creativity.

Wild Water Adventure & BBQ

Titi and Auntie came out this last weekend and we all had a blast. On Saturday we went to Wild Water Adventure Water Park in Clovis. This was our first time there and it was a lot of fun. The children's area was huge and Aubrey had a ball. The adult water slides were also a lot of fun. It was hard to take a lot of pictures since I didn't want the camera to get wet but I did get a few.

On Sunday my parents came down for the day and we all had a BBQ and relaxed.

Dance Party!

It was a nice weekend!

Random, yet cute

Carter will probably kill me for this when he is older but I think it's cute that he likes to carry a wand around. There is noting cuter then a man with his wand right?

I actually have video footage of him with butterfly wings and a wand.

We pulled out all of our Halloween costumes the other day and had a dress up party. It was hard to get a good picture since both Aubrey and Carter were running around like crazy.

Aubrey is starting to be a big help.

The other day while I was in the laundry room I heard "okay Carter all done with breakfast?" Then I heard her pulling over her chair to the sink and I looked out and saw her cleaning of his tray. It was too cute!

Last week was the most beautiful week here!!! It was in the high 70's and we spent all day outside. We played with bubbles, rode bikes, went on walks, and went to the park almost every day.

Thursday morning Carter attempted to eat with a spoon or should I say two spoons. He did pretty good.

Crafts & Projects

We have been having a busy summer doing lots of great activities but I still have found some little time to do some crafts. My small business, Scattered Expressions has been doing quite well the last few months. I have made lots of family established frames, boards, and car & wall decals. I have also been busy making gifts. I sometimes forget to take pictures of everything but here are a few:

Not sure I have already shared my laundry sign but I love it so I'm posting it again just in case:

Our neighbors next door just had their first baby and named him Kiernan. We got them a bag full of goodies and I also made them these (the new daddy is a firefighter):

This was for a friend's birthday:

I can't take all the credit for this project I had some helpers:

Daddy put the shelf together and the kids filled the buckets. I was very happy with how it turned out. I'm even happier with how clean my patio stays now!

Softball

The season is over for the Red Dragon's softball team. It was a pretty good season for them. Spencer enjoyed getting out and playing and the kids and I enjoyed watching and cheering. We can't wait to go to many more games in the future.
