Our Weekend in The Bay

Friday May 13th we went out to the Bay Area to spend some time with grandma and grandpa.  Grandma's birthday was May 7th and with that and Mother's day we wanted to go and visit and have a slumber party with them.  First up Bronco Billy's pizza our favorite then gifts for Grandma.

 We then played games and stayed up late talking and having fun.

 Saturday we decided to go walk around the Oakland temple.  The weater was beautiful and it was so pretty walking around the temple grounds.

We had worked up an appetite so we headed over to have lunch at Nation's Carter opted for a breakfast lunch.  Look at those huge pancakes!

We then went over to Golf Land (our old date night spot) to play around of golf.  The kids had a blast.

Then we came home and took naps and then walked up to the park.

 That night grandma and grandpa offered to watch the kids while Spencer and I went out to do a little shopping and a sushi dinner.

Sunday we got to go to church with grandma and grandpa it was fun seeing old friends.  What a great weekend!

Carter's last full week of school

May 9th-May 13th was Carter's first and last full week of school from 9-2:30.  I thought wow I will have so much free time but with me working Monday, on his field trip Wednesday and Aubrey's school Friday I really did not have that much free time.

Tuesday Spencer and I got to have a date lunch which was such a fun treat.

 Wednesday was Kindergarten field trip to the Fresno Zoo.  We had a great ride down with Carter, Lincoln and Ander.

 The zoo was so much fun.  The kids had a blast and I loved watching them run to all the exhibits and the chance that I got to chat with all the moms and Mrs. Allen.  It was a fun day.

 We had a picnic in the park and then all the boys crashed.

Friday school was out at it's usual time of 12:30 so Cord had his birthday party that day.

Mother's Day 2016

Mother's day was the day after Carter's party May 8th.  It was fun to still have Titi here for the weekend.  I was one spoiled momma that day! I was actually really tired and probably just over worked from the week before so I look very tired but my kiddos knew how to make me feel super special with all their thoughtful gifts.  

 Aubrey picked out this card all on her very own and had Titi help her buy it.

 Aubrey made me a beautiful coaster to keep by my bed.

 Both Carter and Aubrey made me some coffee cups.

 and an adorable step stone.  I also got my new camera and the new shirt that I'm wearing.

 We relaxed all morning and Spencer made me a super yummy Acai bowl.  I look horrible in the picture but the acai bowl looks great!

Then we went on a nice long walk.  After our walk we got ready and then headed to Modesto to meet up with Nana, Papa and Gaga.  Gaga couldn't make it to Carter's party so he borough him his gift that night and he LOVES it!

 We had a very nice dinner at one of our favorite spots, Chevy's.

 We exchanged gifts.  They gave me a beautiful new necklace that I love.

 Mom was so excited because we all went in together to get her a DNA test so she can find out all of heritage.  My mom loves genealogy so this was very special for her.

What a great day! So blessed to live close to mom to be able to spend the day with her.  I'm also so blessed to be able to be a mom and get to experience this crazy, fun, awesome mom life with two of the best kids I could ask for.
