Aubrey's Lalaloopsy Party

Saturday February 8th was Aubrey's party.  Aubrey has been collecting Lalaloopsy's for over a year now and just LOVES them.  She has over 60 of the mini dolls.  This was such a fun party to plan!! Aubrey and  I loved planning it together.  We decided on doing an all girl party this time.  As you will see 1 boy did slip in, Caleb from her class.  I had the no boy rule but Aubrey decided to invite him 2 days before the party and I felt too bad to tell his mom no so he was here but that was it and he actually fit in quite well. She had 9 of her closet girl friends here.  We have had a very dry winter this year so we have been desperately praying for rain.  It was nice to have the rain that weekend but did put a little damper on some things such as the bounce house and the pinata but as you will see we made due and it was a great party even though we couldn't go outside!

Titi made this amazing cake.....
Isn't it beautiful?  Titi is going to baking school right now and I would have to say it's paying off! She amazed all of us with her talents! Not only did it look gorgeous, it tasted fabulous! It was all made by scratch.  Thanks again Titi!!!!

Here is most of Aubrey's collection.

Aubrey is so lucky to have both set of grandparents come and share in her special day.  They are both always such big helps to us.  They help with food, setting up, controlling all the kids, and clean up we are so thankful for them!
For lunch we had button sandwiches, button crackers, chips, fruit salad and pasta salad that looks like Lalaloopsy hair!
 Aubrey's favorite pink lemonade
Before the party officially started we had time to play with family.

Party time! Aubrey and Presley from school.
One of Aubrey's favorite thing to do with her Lalaloopsy dolls is to match the pets with the doll.  This is quite the job with 60+ dolls.  We had the idea to make a game of it and this is what it came out like..
They dolls and pets are all Velcroed on so the kids could switch them around.  It was a lot of fun.
The craft was button flowers and pots.  They came out really cute and kept all the girls really busy.

Here are Aubrey's classmates.
Presley, Advitaa, Kendall, Aubrey and McKayla
Probably the most favorite game was the hot potato game played with a stuffed Lalaloopsy doll.

 Cake time!
 This picture melts my heart!
We then went upstairs for some Just Dance Kid.  See the rain didn't stop us from burning some energy.

The pinata in the entry way was a little strange but again we made due and it was still fun!

Since it was so crazy in such a small area I didn't get a picture of Aubrey pulling a string so we reenacted  it for our memories.
The party favors where the pots, button flowers and a button lollypop.

Our day ended with practicing skating with her new skates from Nana and Papa.  It was a really good party and I liked having a smaller number like 9 I felt like it wasn't as crazy and we could really enjoy everything.  Aubrey loved every second.
