Aubrey just finished her 1st semester of pre-school. She has been going 1 day a week while I'm at work since February. They had the end of the year celebration and the graduation for the ones that are going on to kindergarten. It was the cutest program ever! Aubrey was so proud standing up on stage pointing to us saying "that's my mommy and daddy!" She did great singing along and moving her body. We were very proud parents.

Ugly Prom
For the last two years I have been a member of MOPS, a mother's group here in town that meets 2 Thursdays a month. The group is made up of I think around 60 women all with pre-school aged kids. It's a great organization that gives me time to be around other moms and the kids time to be around other kids. I have made some awesome friends and have had the opportunity to do many fun things. Usually the last meeting of the school year is some kind of party. Last year I missed it since I was recovering with Carter. This year the theme was "Ugly Prom." It turned into more of an 80's prom as the semester went on so this is what I came up with:
Not everyone dressed up but most did. This is the group of ladies that sat at my table for the year:
Out with the...
Old and in with the....
Another new and exciting change is Carter setting forward in the Car, Yay!
Carter Walking
For about the last week or so Carter has done nothing but walked. He hardly ever crawls I thinking running is just around the corner....

Last week (Bay Area and some other fun stuff)
Okay now on to the Bay Area. We had a great visit on Wednesday with Great Grandpa Merv. Carter loved walking all around and touching everything! Nana was also in town that day so we got to see her and have a nice lunch with everyone.
On Thursday Titi and I took the kids to Habitot in Berkley for the day, it was great fun.

Pre-School Pictures
Aubrey had her picture taken by her teacher a couple weeks ago at school. I wish my school pictures looked this good. Teacher Mary did a great job.

Carter's Party
I love all the animal print things that I found around town to incorporate in all his decorations. I also LOVE the cupcakes that Spencer and I made, they came out so cute.
I forgot to get a picture of the food but we had hot dogs, mom's homemade potato salad, watermelon, bananas, chips and veggie sticks.
The games were guess how old Carter was in the pictures and guess how many veggie straws are in the jar. Papa Schill won the picture game and Payton won the veggie straw game, good job!
Party Favors
Daddy & Aubrey dressing the part.
Carter knew right what to do when the cake arrived.
