Swimming

Last Thursday the 22nd was Carter's first pool experience. He loved it! Carter loves the bath tub so we kind of knew that he would like the pool too.

We all have been enjoying our pool.

Aubrey is the BEST big sister. She is always helping me with Carter. When he is crying she goes over to him and sings him Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and he always stops. He loves watching her dance and play all day.

I can't believe he is almost 3 months. It is so much fun watching him grow.

Deuce

Deuce's surgery was last Wednesday. He did great and is healing good and seems to being getting his energy back everyday. The doctor called today with the results. The tumor was a soft tissue sarcoma-peripheral nerve sheath tumor. It was a good thing that we got it removed because it was Cancer. Since Deuce is a small dog she took what she could out. It did have a margin which is a good thing but it was very small so there is a chance of it growing back. It was a grade 1 which I guess has only about a 5-10% of growing back. These tumors stay local and the fact that it is in his back leg and not next to any really important parts we are thinking positive and hope that it is all gone and nothing more will come of it. Other then this small bump that never gave him any pain he is a very healthy dog that has tons of energy so we know he will get through this and be back to normal in no time.

This was Deuce right when he got home. He was so tired and drugged up.

He hates the cone of course but this makes it so he can't chew his stitches out.

We are all hoping and praying that the whole tumor is out and that he will have a fast recovery.

Mom came out to visit

I had a really hard week last week. Aubrey was sick with the flu the first part of the week. I took our dog Deuce to the vet for just a check up and the bump that I thought was nothing is actually a tumor that has to be removed. I was just having a really hard time with everything. My mom dropped everything and came out to help me get my mind off all the stress. We went to the zoo, shopping, out to eat, a girls night out, and the library. My mom is the BEST!

Deuce's surgery is this Wednesday. The doctor is pretty sure it is a Basal Cell Tumor which has a 90% chance of being benign so our fingers are crossed. Deuce is showing no signs that the bump is bugging him and he has had it for over a year with really no change in size so we are hoping for the best. We love Deuce very much and he brings such joy to our family so this is really hard for us.

Back to Work

Aubrey, Carter and I went back to work two weeks ago. I have the best job ever I get to bring both kids to work. It is a bit challenging but we only work one day a week. I have great bosses that love to play with the kids while I'm doing my work so it really feels like work is a break for me.

Weekend with the Aunts

A couple weekends ago the aunts came out to visit. We always have so much fun hanging together.

This would have been a good family picture but Spencer closed his eyes. After that Aubrey was on the run so that is the best we could do.

John's Incredible Pizza

The weekend of the 4th of July Spencer had Monday off so we had a fun day out with the kids. We took them to John's Incredible Pizza. Aubrey is now tall enough to ride the ride and she LOVED it. I think she went on it like 4 times.

The show was a amazing. We enjoyed it very much. Aubrey loved the fireworks. She would get scared at first but then she loved all the colors and pointing to them. She is still talking about it.

Our 4th of July Celebration

We had our annual 4th of July Sup party on Saturday this year. It was so much fun having all the family here. Aubrey had a blast with all her cousins. It was neat for Carter to meet all his aunts, uncles and cousins.

The show was awesome! The guys did a great job. The BBQ was so yummy and it was so nice being with family.

Earlier that day our nephew Ben was baptised. It was very nice and we where so grateful to be a part of it.
