Back to School

Well August 14th was the first day of school.  So hard to believe this was Aubrey's last first day of school at Peterson! Man have the years flown by.  I'm still amazed I have a 6th grader and my little Carter guy is in 4th grade I'm going to cry!  These kids just can't stop growing! 

They were both very excited to go back to school and see all their all friends so I held back the tears and got excited for them.

 Carter let me walk him to his class.  I was excited to see Mrs. Taylor and she was thrilled to have another Supinger in her class!

 Aubrey didn't let me walk to her class but I did get to take a quick pic of her and Kayla before she ran off on me.

 The day went super quick and I must admit it did feel very nice being able to go to the gym and not feel guilty. I knew they were having a fun day! I was so excited to pick them up and hear about their first days.  I did get to make a quick peek into Aubrey's classroom.  It is set p super cool I loved the reading area!

 I wanted a picture of her with her teachers but she said that was weird! 

After school we had a fun yogurt treat.

They talked and talked and talked! They both had a great first day and can't wait for the fun school year ahead!

The Rest of Summer 2019

After we got back home from vacation we had about a week and half left of summer.  

It's always so much fun to go up to Sonora after a trip to pick up the doggies and to see family!

 It sure was nice to be all be back home! Fur babies in all.

 Carter had a fun play day with Max...

 and Aubrey had Kayla over for a day and we made cake pops!

 Friday August 9th Aubrey and I got to go to Modesto to have a fun girls night with Nana and Titi...

 Nana spoiled Aubrey with a huge back to school shopping spree..

 Nana also bought Carter lots of fun back to school clothes...

 Aubrey got a new melting art tool that she has been having fun with...

 Monday August 12th we went out lunch with dad.

 Aubrey also got her package of scrunchies from Amazon she had ordered.  She now has every color you can imagine!

 and as you can see we had some family fun with them...

 Tuesday August 13th we got to go to the school and see the class list! Aubrey was excited to have most of her friends in her class.  She has the switching classes again so she has Mrs. Aliberto for math and science and Mrs. Kubo for L.A. and Social Studies.  Carter also was very excited to get Mrs. Taylor as his teacher and his best friends, Ander and Noah in his class.  It's going to be a fun school year!

 Both places are in the same shopping mall so I just ran back and forth checking on them.  Carter looked so handsome! 

 After our pampering we met up with dad for some lunch and to see the new Dora movie.

 When we came home the kids put on a back to school fashion show for us...

and then it was time for dinner, showers and bed! Back to school tomorrow!

Wow summer flew by.  We had a great one! 

Cancun Days 7 and 8

Saturday August 3rd was our last full day in Cancun.  The last day of vacation is always bitter sweet.  You are so happy with how much fun you had but sad to say good bye.  Spencer and I woke up early for our last work out in the gym while the kids slept in.  Since we still had resort credits we booked a massage for Spencer and salon visit for the kids to get braids (super in thing in Mexico!)

 We also did some souvenir shopping while we waited for the kids appointments...

After appointments we went to pizza for lunch and then had some pool time...

 Spencer did the ping pong tournament and I think won!

 Carter played more at the wave pool and got super good at surfing!

 We also just relaxed in the pool too!

 That night we had reservations at a fancy restaurant on the golf course.

 The dishes were amazing and looked like art work!

 After dinner we took the kids to the arcade one last time. 

 We went back to the room and packed up.  We had an early day the next day! The bus picked us up at 4am!

Sunday August 4th was our departure day.  So sad to say good bye to Mexico but ready to go back to the US and see our puppies!

Adios Mexico we had a blast!! So blessed to get to have these fun adventures with our kids! We can't wait to start planning our next vacation!
