Summer Camp

I can hardly believe that our little girl is old enough for a week long summer camp!  Last week was Vacation Bible School (VBS) at St. Paul's Lutheran church.  I have a lot of good friends that have their kids go to school there and had nothing but great things to say about the VBS program.  It was Monday-Friday 9am-12pm.  I think I was a little more nervous then her on the first day but all went well.  Aubrey is so funny and she says such cute things!! After her first day she says, "Mom I have to get the camp shirt everyone wears them and I really want one." so of course I say lets go get one then.  After buying the shirt she asks the lady, "can I buy some camp pants too." I just thought that was too cute!!  It was fun hearing all about her morning at camp.  She loved the music they sang, all the projects they did and all the yummy snacks.  The theme was Everything is Possible with God.  They had a flying in the sky theme and the decorations were adorable.  I was blown away by all the wonderful volunteers that did so much for a week full of fun. We were so lucky to have Titi over for most of the week.  After camp we did many fun things like a picnic, frozen yogurt, shopping and Aubrey's big dance recital (post will follow this one).  It was a fun week!

Friends, Ice Cream and a Dairy oh my!

The week of the 18th was BUSY!! After our fun day trip to Gilroy on Monday we had Greyson and Gwen over on Wednesday.
Also on Wednesday we went on a Cold Stones ice cream parlor tour with our friends from MOPS.
Thursday we went to our friends dairy (another MOPS event). We got to meet a day old calf, watch a calf be born, went on a hay ride, watch the cows be milked, have a picnic and play on a huge slip in slide.

 It was a great day!

Gilroy Gardens

June 18th the kids and I went to Gilroy Gardens with our good friends Haley and Mitchell.  It was a super fun day!!

Father's Day 2012

After our mini vacations apart we were excited to reconvene at home and celebrate Father's day.  Spencer is such an awesome dad and I feel so lucky to be able to be a parent with him.  He is so much fun!! The kids were excited to celebrate dad! Aubrey made Spencer the cutest book ever and the kids and I made him a very cool framed picture of them holding up a chalk board with the reasons they love him.  We love you so much daddy thanks for all your hard work for us and for being a "Super Dad!"

Sonora

While Daddy and Aubrey were fishing Carter and I went up to Sonora.  We had fun being with Nana during the week.  We went to singing time, went boating, relaxed, and mom taught me how to sew with a pattern and I made Aubrey a sundress.
Dad and Gaga got home Friday night.  Saturday we went to the Father's Day fly in up in Columbia.  It was really cool! Carter loved getting to see tons of air planes he even got to climb in and play in a few.

We all went out to dinner Saturday night to celebrate Father's Day with dad.  I feel so blessed to have such a great dad.  He is a wonderful example to me and I look up to him.  I love how he is always positive and has encouraged me to do so much.  Love you dad!!

Wente Fishing Trip

June 14th-16th was the Supinger annual fishing trip at Wente Scout Camp in Wilits, CA.  Spencer was very excited because he missed going the last couple years due to Carter's birth and our family vacation. It was also neat because Aubrey was old enough to join in on the fun. Aubrey caught a bunch of blue gill and had a great experience out on a fishing boat. It was a long drive but they both enjoyed it very much. Maybe next year us moms might go too.

Merced County Fair

Thursday June 14th the kids and I went on a MOPS field trip to the Merced Country Fair.  The kids had lots of fun running around with their friends.
Here are a few other pictures taken that same week:
Our peach tree was amazing this year!! We got well over 300 peaches.  The birds got a few of them, we gave some away and oh how we enjoyed a bunch!! We also made an out of this world peach cobbler.
We always get lots of aphids on our roses.  Spencer did some research and found out that lady bugs eat aphids we were surprised that our Orchard carried some so we tried it out.  It worked really good and it was fun playing with all the lady bags with the kids.
The Saturday before the fair was Aubrey's good friend, Grace's 4th birthday party.  It was a tea party at a cute cafe here in town it was adorable!  The girls made jewelry boxes and necklaces.  They also got to order their own lunch and drink out of tea cups.  The moms stayed too it was a nice girls day out.
