Tuesday February 1st Aubrey had a basketball game in Atwater and won!!

Wednesday, February 2nd Carter science project was due. He did such a nice job on his poster and with his entire project. He made it into the semi finals for the best science project at the school. We are so proud of him.

February 3rd they had the kids dress up as 100 year olds for school. Carter sure makes a good looking old man.

February means birthday month for aubrey!! Birthday card started rolling in for Aubrey.

This year planning a birthday party was a lot harder than most years. Because Aubrey was turning 14 she was not really into having a big party so we talked her into a day of fun with her friends. We decided to do her fun day on Saturday, February 5th. She woke up ready to party!

Carter sure looks ready to! We went and picked up Gigi and mika up for the day.

We then headed to Aubrey’s favorite restaurant chipotle for lunch.

Then over to mix bakery to pick up cupcakes for later.

And then we went to roller land. This place is in need of a makeover but it is still so much fun.

After an afternoon of skating we went over to target. The girls had so much fun picking out crazy outfits to Tryon in the dressing rooms.

Then we came home for cupcakes

We also had barbecue hamburgers for dinner and then the kids all watched a movie in the movie room. It was a really fun day. We would’ve had them all spend the night but since Sunday was Aubrey’s real day she wanted to wake up on her real day just her.

Sunday, February 6th aubrey’s 14th birthday!

I have so much fun shopping for this girl. Daddy does too he actually went to Nike earlier in the week and picked her out some really cool new dunks that she absolutely loves!

After we opened gifts and get ready for the day we took a bike ride over to the park for a picnic.

When we were at the park we decided it would be fun to go see Spider-Man again at the movie theaters.

It was fun seeing the movie again and seeing parts that we may have missed the first time around.

Then we went to Strings for dinner.

When we came home Aubrey’s church leader left her the cutest little pink package at the doorstep for her birthday

Wednesday, February 9th For a relief society we decorated Valentine’s Day cookies. Mine came out pretty cute!

Carter’s drawings are always so impressive.

Thursday, February 10th What is the first day of basketball tournaments. Aubrey’s team won and they went onto the championships Friday night.

Friday, February 11 TD came down for the weekend. It was so fun getting to have her all to myself Friday while the kids are at school we went shopping and out to lunch.

That night she got to go to the championship game.

I felt so sad for Aubrey‘s team. They were undefeated the entire season and it all came down to the last game on Friday, February 11th. Their coach decided to do something else that night and not be at the game so the girls didn’t have a coach. The principal stepped in but it just wasn’t the same and the girls did not play like they normally do and we lost the championship by just a couple points!! They were super disappointed and it was sad. But we were just so proud of how well they had done the entire season and how much they had grown since game number one. It was so fun getting to see Aubrey play basketball this season.

Saturday, February 12th we had fun with TT shopping and hanging out and then Sunday February 13th Was Super Bowl Sunday so we had Nana Papa and gaga come out to celebrate Aubrey’s birthday and Super Bowl. I think this is the best halftime show ever all our old favorite music artists came together.

We had a huge Mexican bar with nachos, tacos, and taco salad it was very yummy and fun!

After dinner we got to celebrate Aubrey for her birthday it was a lot of fun.

Once we finish Aubrey’s birthday we go into Valentine’s Day mood! These were the Valentines that Carter did this year…

We did our fun valentine Chex mix for the teachers.

I love Valentine’s Day!

While the kids are at school Spencer surprise me with a massage what fun that was.

Tuesday February 15th was twin day at school. I helped the girls make these sweat shirts! 

That night I took the dogs on a jog and I had a terrible fall and cut my chin open.

It was pretty scary. Spencer was down in Fresno at a meeting and so I had to walk home with blood everywhere once I got home it still wouldn’t stop bleeding so Aubrey and I went to the emergency room. They ended up just putting glue and a Band-Aid on it and telling me to take ibuprofen. I was pretty shook up by the whole ordeal. This is why I run on the treadmill not outside.

Wednesday, February 16th We hosted a cupcake party for the teachers at their monthly meeting. When I got to campus to set up I got to see the tail end of Carter’s been practicing which was fun.

Then I set up the cupcake bar it came out adorable!

I had forgotten to take pictures of what Spencer got the kids for Valentine’s Day he got Carter this cool balloon.

Saturday, February 19th Spencer and I had our Valentine’s Day date. We went downtown and had a wonderful dinner at five ten bistro And then walked to the old theater for a fun comedy show.

Monday, February 21st was Presidents’ Day. The kids had the entire week off but Spencer had Monday off so we went on a family trip down to the Fresno zoo. The weather was so nice we had a great time being all together as a family.

Daddy had bought aubrey a beautiful flower for Valentine’s Day.

I took the kids to the movies on February 23rd We saw a dog it was so cute!!

We did a fun bike ride on February 24th. 

And also Carter had a play date with Blake that day.

Friday, February 25th Aubrey and I went up to Stockton to meet and have lunch with Nana, Titi, Cindy, and Jane. It was so fun seeing all our family.

We decided to make a weekend of it so Aubrey and I stayed with Nana and Titi In Stockton. Our first hotel was in the ghetto so we had to move to another hotel. It was a really nice one after we checked and we then went out to Hobby lobby for some shopping. We always have so much fun together. 

After shopping we went to El Torito’s for dinner and then came back to the hotel and watched a movie and had lots of candy. It was a blast!!

Saturday, February 26th We went to the mall in shopped till we dropped and then had lunch and then they went back to Sonora and we went back to Merced. It was a lot of fun all being together!

After church on Sunday, February 27th We went to the school for some baseball/softball practice. 

For the life of me I cannot remember the date that Carter went up to camp Green Meadows with his sixth grade class. But here are the pictures from it. He had a great time he wished it would’ve been an overnight camp but it was just a one day camp. It was better than nothing though.

There you have it February 2022. Crazy how fast these months go by!
