Him and his friends did such an awesome job!
As a PTC this is what we bought for the entire school..
After school that day we headed down to Fresno to board a plane to go to Las Vegas to celebrate dad's 42nd birthday! It was originally going to be a complete surprise but because dad needed to take time off we told him where we were going but nothing else.
We surprised him with an amazing suite at the Venetian. It was beautiful!
We had a fun dinner at our hotel that night.
Then after dinner we decided to surprise him with some of his gifts so it helped with the planning of our long weekend in Vegas. The big gift was a trip to the Grand Canyon. Dad has said for many years he has always wanted to see the Grand Canyon so I booked us a really fun day trip that also included the Hoover Dam. He was very surprised and really excited!
Thursday March 3rd (Dad's real birthday) him and I woke up and had a fabulous gym date. While we were at the gym I was texting the kids and they set up the room to surprise dad with.
He loved it! He got to open more presents!
Then we got ready and headed to the pool. Only in Vegas can you go swimming in March! Even though it was a little cold the pools felt amazing and we had fun chilling out on the pool deck.
and taking fun pictures!
After our swimming we got ready for the day and went and explored the strip.
We had an amazing lunch at the best burger place in town! Their milkshakes are unbelievable!
We made it all the way down to Circus Circus and watched the circus and then played games.
Dad had to get a mini massage on his birthday!
We had an amazing birthday dinner for dad at Benihana. We had a private room and it was so much fun!
Friday March 4th we had to be awake really early for our adventure to the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam.
What an amazing view!!
It was a wonderful day. The pictures speak for themselves! We loved every minute.
That night we wanted to do something fun so we looked for a fun concert and decided on Katy Perry! We first had a wonderful Mexican dinner.
Then the concert! It was so so so so much FUN!
What a great night!
Saturday March 5th we were flying home late that night. Since we had the day we decided to shop and hang out on the strip for the day.
It was a wonderful trip. I sure love my family! We always have so much fun traveling together!
We were in the mood for El Torrito Salads so re created it at home. So Good!
Because of Covid Camp Green Meadows has looked a little different the last couple years. Well last year the 6th graders could not go at all and then this year Carter's 6th grade class it was just a day trip. He was bummed not to be staying the night but he was excited to get to go up and see snow.
He had fun with friends that day.
For the March Activity Day I put together this cute rainbow craft.
I also helped out with the Relief Society activity in March. I had done a retro night at our old ward so I brought the idea to our new ward and it was a big hit!
We made pillow cases to donate.

The boys had a magic tournament so Aubrey and I had a fun girls night. We wore matching jammies and all!
