Monday Dec. 16th Carter had a presentation at the STEAM center. He had been going with his class the last few school days and then on the 16th the presented their project.
His group was great! They made a marble contraption that showed how gravity worked.
Also that day we had our annual gingerbread house making party....

They had a blast!!!
and ate way to much sugar!
They came out really darling!
Aubrey friend gatherings always make there way up to her room for girl talk!
We made these signs for the teachers....
Tuesday Dec. 17th I got to help out in Carter's class and be there for the mug exchange.
Carter loved his mug!
Jacob C. got the mug Crater picked out.
Carter loves having me at his class. Leah was one of my old RTI students and she loves when I'm on campus. She is so sweet and always makes sure to say hi to me.
When we got home Aubrey got her Christmas slime package...
Wednesday Dec. 18th was the last day of school.
That night we had both the scout parties.
I went with Carter to his. It was a potluck and we brought desserts.
Carter helped me make them...
Aubrey took desserts to her event too.
Thursday Dec. 19th we went up to Sonora for our first day of break and made Christmas cookies with Nana, Papa and Titi.
Nana came up with the best royal icing recipe. We were trying to pretend we were on the cookie backing show. We made some real master pieces!
It's always so fun to go home for the holidays and see all our old family decorations. We love looking at the Santa pictures that my mom has collected from when she was a little girl and then from when I was born to 21!!
We then went to see the Sonora Santa downtown...
For some reason he took a real liking to Papa....
After Santa and some shops we went out to dinner to really yummy Italian restaurant...
Then to Titi's to see her decorations which were adorable!
Then home to dad!
Friday December 20th we relaxed all day and then went to the new Star Wars movie which was soooooo good!
Saturday December 21th we decided to do our bi-annual San Francisco trip. It's always so fun to see at Christmas time. We drove to Dublin and the boarded the BART for the city.
Once in the city we checked into our hotel the Hilton in Union Square. Then we hopped on an Uber and made our way down to the Wharf to see our favorite Santa at the Boudin Bakery restaurant.
We had a yummy lunch there..
Then toured the bread making area.
Then walked to Ghirardelli Square...
Then Carter got to Virtual Reality and then we went to the Batman museum...
Time for a donut treat and walking back to Union Square.
We didn't walk the whole way but did a little to see some sights.
Union Square was packed!
We walked and checked out some stuff but then decided to go back to our room and watch movies and eat pizza.
Sunday Dec. 22 we packed up and started to head back to BART.
We did find a fun mall were we got breakfast and checked out the LEGO store.
The puppies did good with our house/doggie sitter. We sure did miss our little fur babies.
Monday Dec. 23rd the elf left us a fun scavenger hunt to do...
Then we worked on wrapping and last minute gifts!
We could hardley believe it was already Christmas Eve!
