Christmas day is so magical! I love everything about Christmas!! Seeing the kids on Christmas has got to be my favorite! They were so happy, sweet, thankful and it was truly an amazing day!
It is getting a little harder as the kids get older to figure out what to get them. Their toys nowadays are a lot more expensive and they really have everything they could want and need. We truly are so blessed! We decided to change things up this year. We spent less on gifts and decided to get a fun experience for them instead. It was so hard to keep our secret from the kids that we were going somewhere during Christmas break but so worth it in the end because they were very excited....
Now to the big surprise!
We wrapped up airline tickets that were to Las Vegas....
on the back it said.."What do you need when you travel?"
They found their next gift in a suitcase.
It was a picture of the hotel we would be staying at, New York New York on the strip...
Then that clue said..."We all love music..."
Under the Alexa was the final gift....
Tickets to Maroon 5!!!!
They were ecstatic! We were too! Since they both love music right now we thought what is better than seeing your favorite band in concert. Since they both love the Memories song by Maroon 5 Spencer had the idea to go see them. When we looked up their tour they only had 2 more concerts in the US for the next 6 months and it was in Vegas either on 12/30 or 12/31 so we thought how perfect! We could go during Christmas break! So we booked the flight and hotel and gave the kids a fun trip for Christmas. It was perfect and they loved it!!
After opening gifts we played with some of our new toys...
Then we got all ready and packed the car to head up to Sonora. We usually host Christmas but since we have all the dogs we decided to do it up in Sonora this year.
We had a nice pretty drive up to Sonora. The kids were actually super happy to have a drive to use their new toy electronics in the car.
Once in Sonora we started enjoying appetizers and then went into opening gifts. We have been pulling names the last few years and it has made buying gifts so much easier! This year I got my mom and Spencer got Titi. Titi got me and papa got Spencer. The kids just get super spoiled by all. We had a wonderful time giving and receiving such nice gifts!
As you can see we all got spoiled! The kids big gifts were amazing! Aubrey got a bike and Carter got a chrome book! If that wasn't amazing enough Nana and Papa then told us they had to get one more thing and then came out of their room with mickey and minnie ears on and told us they were treating us all to a Disneyland vacation!!!!!!! I started to cry! Nana and Papa are so generous and do so many special things for us. We are so blessed to have such amazing parents that take such good care of us all! It was a very magical experience.

and then our White Elephant funny game...
We spent the night up in Sonora that night. It was great getting to stay up late being with everyone!
As you can see from all the pictures it truly was an amazing magical day!
