Saturday May 4th was Carter's one and only Saturday baseball game this season so we arranged to have family come down for the day to go to the game and to celebrate Carter's birthday. Poor Nana woke up sick and could not come down. We sure missed her but were happy that Papa and Titi could still make it. The baseball game was lots of fun!
After the game we went to Carter's choice for lunch which was H&W our favorite drive in hamburger spot! Fresh brewed root-beer and the best strawberry shakes in town!
In the parking lot we saw this sign and Carter ran over to pose! He is so funny!
After lunch we came home for some birthday celebrations!
Carter was over the moon excited to get an Ezy Roller from Nana and Papa! He has wanted one forever!
It sure didn't last long in the box!
It's a blast and he always wants to ride it when we take our walks!!
Titi made him his favorite a Rice Krispie Cake!
We had so much fun with the family!
That evening we played Carter's new game as a family.
Took the ezy roller out for an evening stroll...
Sunday May 5th was cinco de Mayo and also the butterfly festival up in Mariposa.
The weather was perfect that day!
It was such a nice family day out for us!
We went to Mexican food that night for dinner.

Wednesday May 8th Aubrey had her first baby sitting/ mom helper job. My friend Erika hired her for a couple hours to look after her 3 and 1 year old while she did some work in the garage. Aubrey loved it and she really loved when she got paid! In honor of her new job we stopped and got a special treat at Frozen World.

I got to sub in Aubrey's class. It's always fun when they have P.E.
Thursday May 9th Was the Mother & Daughter Relief Society event. We enjoyed some yummy salads and learned how to make healthy treats.
Carter also is a working man! He reads to the 1st graders once a week. I was subbing on Friday May 10th and got to see my little guy do his job!
That evening we packed up the car and headed to the bay area to visit mom/grandma. It was her birthday on May 7th and Mother's day that Sunday so it was a perfect weekend to spend some time with her!
We got a hotel and it was so nice!
Saturday May 11th we took grandma and our niece to the movies to see Pikachu.
It was nice to have fancy chairs!

The Oakland temple had just under went a remodel so they had it open to the public pretty much the entire month of May so we were excited to get to go and go through the temple with the kids!
It was a special experience and so nice to have all that time with mom sup!
Sunday May 12th (Mother's Day) the kids played a little in our hotel pool...
Then we packed up and headed home and on the way home my family took me shopping...
and to my favorite restaurant...
The Cheese Cake Factory. It was so nice!
Once home I was spoiled with kindness and gifts! I love being a mom to two amazing kids!
I'm love with my new stepping stone!
Poor Aubrey had to have 2 teeth pulled on May 13th! She took it like a champ and did great. I was so happy dad and I could be there to hold her hands.
Thursday May 16th was the Merced City Schools science fair. Aubrey got to play with all the elementary aged kids in the area. They did great!
I loved my stepping stone so much I had the kids make one for Nana.
Friday May 17th was the Sock Hop at Peterson! This is the 2nd year doing this and it's so much fun! This year Aubrey and her friends wanted to do a more "tough" look so no poodle skirts this time!
The dance was so much fun! These girls are too cute!

It was a really fun night!
Saturday May 18th we drove up to Sonora to celebrate mother's day with my mom. We have been wanting to check out the Calaveras Frog jump fair for years so it was perfect that it landed on this weekend!
It was so fun to get to adopt a frog for a little bit and see how far they can jump! We even got to name them. It was really fun!
After our frog jump we went around and explored the fair.
We also did some rides...
and the kids played a game and won some pictures..
That night we went back to Nana and Papa's and had pizza and relaxed.

Sunday May 19th we celebrated Mother's day....
We went to a really nice place for brunch...
They had the world's best hot chocolate.
Monday May 20th I got to organize a craft for Aubrey's girl scout troop which was so much fun!
Wednesday May 22nd was Star Wars day at school and I was subbing so that was fun to dress up!
Thursday May 24th we had Carter's end of the baseball season swim party...
Spencer is an amazing coach and did such a great job with the boys this year!
Another great baseball season in the memory books!
May 25th Aubrey went to her friend Presley's birthday party...
I got to have snuggle time with my guy!
Monday May 27th was memorial day so we had a fun family day of going to the mall..
and to the new Aladdin...
Tuesday May 28th Papa was in town for a meeting so we got to meet up with him after school for treat at Frozen World...
Wednesday May 29th was Aubrey's spring concert at school..
Carter got his May science kit!
May 30th we had our dentist appointments in the morning so I took them out to lunch before going back to school.
That night we drove up to Stockton to see our nephew Blake graduate from high school.
That was our May 2019 in a nut shell! We had a wonderful time. I can hardly believe summer is almost here!
