Day 4 of Vacation

Tuesday June 7th was our relaxing day of our vacation.  We were leaving Universal City and heading to Anaheim.  We all took it easy in the morning and kind of sleep in.  Then daddy and Aubrey went to the pool while Carter and I went to the gym.  I ran while he played on his game pad.  Then we had breakfast in the room and packed our bags.
We were sad to say good bye to the Hilton.  Our room was beautiful and the amenities were amazing there, plus it was just a great location.  But we could not be more excited to head south to DISNEYLAND!
We had gone to Disneyland back in October with my parents and I thought it might be too much to go again so soon but I had an epiphany or I guess you would say a thought that these cute little ones are growing up way to fast and I want to squeeze as many Disney vacations in as possible.  In my eyes you could never go to Disneyland too many times.  I tell Spencer all the time I want to retire in Southern California on the beach and work as the Fairy God Mother at Disneyland so that might come true some day.
We took it really easy and slow to Anaheim since we were not in a rush that day.  We were taking a day off of amusement parks.  I wanted the kids to see Hollywood Blvd, the Chinese Theater and the Hollywood sign.  It was fun being a tourist and driving around.  I was forcing Spencer to find a good place for a family picture in front of the sign but it didn't work out.  We would be able to see the sign perfect from the car and then park and trees would be in the way.  We all started getting very frustrated and Spencer was so done! lol At one point Spencer pulled over and told me to jump out and get a picture on a freeway over pass but when a guy walking by in paints from the county jail I decided that the picture really wasn't that important.  Our one hour drive was more like 3 because we stopped a lot.  Once for lunch and then we found a Toys R Us so we had to browse and get a few things.  The kids are super into those mystery pack things.  We found a bunch of Disney Lego mini figures and Aubrey's new love NomNom's.  After some shopping we finally made it to our hotel.  It was great it was a Residence Inn.  They were little condos with a full kitchen.  It was a perfect place to stay for the next 4 nights.  Oh and it was free hot breakfast and parking!
We had lots of space and it was less then a 10 minute walk to Disneyland but we ended up finding out it was a 2 minute walk to the Pumba parking lot that had a bus.  There was always a bus we never had to wait and that got us to the park in like 3 minutes it was really cool.
After unpacking we got ready and headed to Downtown Disney.  The Lego store is always were we spend most of our time.
We all made cars and had a family race.

Daddy's favorite restaurant is Goofy's Kitchen so we were all excited to go and enjoy the BEST buffet ever and say hi to some of our favorite friends again.
First we explored the Disneyland hotel and some Disney shopping.  We also brought the kids pins again so they went right into some pin treading.

Pluto has always been Carter's favorite!

 How sweet is this....
 Carter was making mouse ears.

All I can say is YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY! That place is ridiculously expensive but so worth it for the yummy food and the entertainment.  It was a great night and really got us ready and excited for the days to come.

Disneyland here we come!!!!!
