Our Family tradition is to decorate for Christmas Thanksgiving weekend so that is what we did all day Saturday. We put up the tree Saturday morning and Aubrey just looked at the tree like what the heck and then got back to playing.
Then when she woke up from her afternoon nap she came down the stairs to see the tree all lit up. She loved it! We caught her on tape giggling and clapping it was so cute!
This is the end result
Spencer and I have been painting a Christmas village for the last three years. My mom has a huge village that she has painted since before we where even born so she got us our very first house for our first married Christmas and we have been hooked ever since. We paint all year round. Here is a picture of us in front of it with the projects that we are working on now.
Today December 1st Aubrey was able to open her first Christmas window in her advent calendar. She even got to taste the chocolate and she loved it!

Oh, I really like the garland and candles you have on your mantle. And I love your Christmas village, it looks so wonderful and Christmasy! Makes me wanna do something like that, I've always liked the villages...
Love your tree and Christmas Village. What a fun tradition to paint them together! Yeah for Christmas time, what a fun time of year!
