End of Summer Activities

Saturday August 10 was Aubrey's good friend Greyson's 5th birthday party.  It was an Army themed party and it was so much fun.  The kids loved all the activities.

Boot camp time:

They even got to shoot a real paintball gun.
Greyson's mommy (my good friend, Casey) does amazing parties. The kids had a blast and still wear their shirts all the time.
We love having Titi live closer!! She has come over and hung out a bunch of times, we are so lucky!  After making homemade pizzas we went to the new Planes movie Carter was in love!
Painting morals for the new kid bathroom.
Our last Saturday of summer we headed over to Gilroy Gardens as a family.  We had so much fun enjoying our favorite rides and doing a little back to school shopping at the outlets.

Bye Bye Summer 2013 it has been fun!

Nana and Papa Camp

The kids and I went up to Sonora the first week in August for Nana and Papa camp.  We had so much fun being with family and enjoying the outdoors.  It was awesome having Titi and Gaga with us too.  The first day we spent at the park and doing a little shopping.
Papa took us all to a trout farm.  It's a great place for a first timer fisherman (Carter) it was a little too quick of a catch for a more experienced fisher woman (Aubrey).  It was a neat experience and I'm glad we did it.  The grounds were beautiful.  I was a little sad that it was not a catch and release it felt strange really killing something but we did eat it that night so I guess that is okay.

All that fishing required an ice cream stop in Columbia.

Dinner time!
We had lots of fun playing games, doing puzzles, coloring, crafts, movies and lots of swing time.
 Enjoying the lake!
 Picnic in the park.
Our last night was a street fair in down town.  We enjoyed a yummy Mexican dinner and checking out stores.  We ended our fun night at the kids favorite candy store.

It was a great week!!! So glad we have such an amazingly fun family!!!

Kid Bathroon re-do

We can officially say that there is not a single white room in our house! We decided to paint the kids bathroom the last weekend in July.  We celebrated our 8 year anniversary going on a fabulous date to one of our favorite restaurants and then a trip to Kohl's where we picked out the colors and design that we wanted.  The pictures make the yellow look a lot more bright then what it looks like in person.  I'm also going to do some vinyl if I can ever find some time.
