Santa!!!

One of my family traditions is to get a picture with Santa every year. My mom has pictures of myself and my siblings on Santa from 1 month to 24 years. We have been talking to Aubrey a lot about Santa preparing her for this very picture this year. She can say his name and when she sees anyone that in the slight resembles Santa she says Santa. When we got to the mall she loved him from a distance but in line and on his lap it was another story.

After Santa we went out to dinner and she was much happier.

Aubrey's first movie

On the 12th of December we took Aubrey to the movie theater for the first time. Anyone who knows us knows that we are major movie people so Aubrey has seen a lot at the house but this was the first time to the theater.

We went to the Christmas Carol. Aubrey sat through the whole thing.

Decorating the Tree

We decorated for Christmas the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Aubrey was very excited to help this year.

Thanksgiving 2009

We had another wonderfully yummy Thanksgiving this year. Aubrey was able to really enjoy all the food this time and she loved it. We got to spend time with both sides.

Parks

We find that most of our time these days are spent at parks with Aubrey. She loves all slides and shows no fear for any of them. Here are some fun pictures that I have taken the last couple of months.

Fairyland

The weekend that we went to the Bay for my Birthday we also went to Fairyland for one of the days. We had so much fun watching Aubrey run around the whole place. We also watched a very funny magic show.

My Birthday

I had a wonderful 29th birthday at the beginning of November. Spencer spoiled me with such a perfect day.

We went to the Spaghetti Factory for dinner.

Over my Birthday weekend we went to the bay. My family watched Aubrey on Saturday so that Spencer and I could have a date day. That night we all went out to dinner to the Olive Garden to celebrate.

Halloween

We had such a fun Halloween. Aubrey loved being in her costume and she LOVED getting candy. She couldn't say "Trick or Treat" but she sure knew how to put her bucket out to get the candy. We had our friends over for Pizza before. Here is my attempt to get a picture of the two girls, Aubrey was all over the place:

Then we went to another Fall Festival where they had jumpers, animals, hay ride and some more Trunk or Treating. It was dark by then so it was a little hard to get pictures.





Then we went to see some of our neighbors.

Earlier in the week at our playgroup we had a Halloween party. I thought the Giraffe outfit might be a little hard to play in and I found this really cute 50's outfit at cute shop in Sonora. It goes up to 3T so you might see it again.
