Christmas 2014

Christmas morning was magical in every way.  Christmas is so much fun through the eyes of children.  They were very excited and woke us up I think around 6am.  We all ran downstairs together.
Santa had set up a beautiful Barbie dream house for Aubrey and an awesome ninja turtle sewer for Carter.  They were very excited to see them all ready to go and all the gifts under the tree.
Santa had left his snowy foot prints by the fireplace.
He also ate the cookies, drank the milk and left a letter for the kids to read.
Then it was on to gift opening.  Deuce even got a stocking and a new stuffed animal.

This year was cute because the kids were really excited for us to open the gifts they got us.  They actually wanted us to open first! I think they are getting that giving is better than receiving :)
Daddy got the worlds best dad pin and I got a beautiful purple ring from Aubrey.
Don't get me wrong they still really loved receiving too!

This picture is just too cute! Carter got Aubrey a dolphin necklace for Christmas, she loved it!

Carter saying,  "it's a barbie car!"
Barbies were top on the list this year for Subrey.  It has been fun playing them with her and remembering the hours and hours my sister and I would play when we were kids.
The top of Carter's list this year was a "loopty loop track that went upside down!"  I wish I would have gotten a picture of him fainting when he opened this one he was very excited despite the look on his face in this picture.

Aubrey made us the cutest calendar with her hand print for each month.  January she made a snowflake, February a heart, March a leprechaun and so on and so on all with hand prints.  It was a adorable.  I actually knew what she was making since I helped with this project at school 12 months of hand prints doing crazy things x 25 students, it was a big job! We love it so much and it's a wonderful keepsake.
Carter picked out a window cleaner for dad's car and a beautiful necklace and earring set for me.

Daddy and Mommy bought the kids a joint gift...... a huge marble set.
I did get a fainting picture, yay! He was so cute fating all morning when he was excited!
After all the gifts were open we enjoyed playing and watching a Disney Frozen parade on TV together.  Daddy made a wonderful breakfast of eggs, sausage and Cinnamon rolls.
It was so much fun playing all morning.  We then got dressed and headed up to Sonora for our Schillerstrom party.  The kids were excited to wear their new shirts they got that day Frozen and Big Hero 6.  When the kids went out to Sonora the first part month they were playing in their tree house  Aubrey went in to go to the bathroom and while she was gone Carter was sure he saw 3 reindeer walking by.  When we got up there on Christmas day Santa left a note that said his reindeer were out practicing that day and since they saw a kid in the tree house they thought children leaved there and that there was a surprise in their tree house.  We climbed up and saw a beautiful tree and stockings! It was very cool.
We then came in from the cold and visited and enjoyed snacks as a family.  We were very excited that grandpa was with us this year.  Carter was so nice to him and would talk and help him the whole day.

Then papa put on the Santa hat and the Christmas gift opening started! These kids are so spoiled!

Mommy and daddy are very spoiled too!

The kids got everything on there list and then some! Barbies, games, ninja turtle stuff, cars and more and more.  Carter also got a pair of new skates that he was very excited about and Aubrey is loving taking pictures of anything and everything.... I wonder where she gets it? lol

Papa and Gaga made an awesome dinner! The meat was so yummy! My mouth is watering thing about it, so yummy!

This is the best part of Christmas.......
being surrounded with the people you love! I love this family very much and feel so blessed to be a part of it!
We have been loving this ninja turtle matching game. We play it as a family almost overnight.  We get in teams and it always turns into a night of laughing it's so much fun.
For dessert Laura made our yummy family press cookies that we enjoyed with some ice cream.
We ended the night getting some family pictures.

It was a PERFECT day! I love Christmas and I love my family!
Merry Christmas!
